I anticipated some lumps and bumps when Scott got here (SD)..but once Shildt ironed out EXACTLY what his role was going to be in the middle of the occasional match up switch with him and Suarez, Tanner Scott bounced back to what he's been for the last 4 yrs or so...lights out.
Draft good build good padres have got some of the best talent scouts that’s why they are selling. They see better stuff from the next gen coming and they are selling because of it .

Also Padres did refill the farm last draft and soon next year draft thanks to AJ Preller amazing scouting ability. We won't be having a loaded farm if we didn't have AJ!

Preller didn't sell Leo and Salas, and Mazur, Snelling are kinda mid unless Marlins figured them out like they did with Ryan Weathers 😵💫

@camala they didn’t panic , they needed pitching so they gave up some trade chips,
@@rocketdog2723 and most importantly kept Salas and DeVries. Plus they got the most prospects from the most recent draft so our guys will be fine.
