      @@AndreasIhm what is the tool called to measure the saddle height and stack? Any link where I can buy

      @@bartclaus4153 hi, this is a simple but huge square. There is a tool that actually exists that is specifically made for that.
      Here is the tool in question:

    I notice no decals on this frame set, is this a special option? Nice video !

    • @AndreasIhm
      @AndreasIhm  2 года назад

      Thank you. This is a “reasy to paint” frame from Open Cycles. It is bare carbon. So we applied decals to give it some identity ;)
      All Open Cycles frames have the “ready to paint” option.

      @@AndreasIhm oh cool! Do you know if it’s just as durable unpainted? (Will it be okay to use on gravel?)

      @@sc705 hi, it is totally fine to ride it like that. A clear coat would be a great way to protect it though.

    Hi great build. Is the Open frame carbon? And what was the price with this spec?

    • @AndreasIhm
      @AndreasIhm  2 года назад +1

      Hi! Sorry for the late response.
      The frame is carbon yes. You can find the prices on open cycles website although the wheels wont be the same.
      Depending on where you live, prices will vary. My guess is this build is in the 10k area (again, depending on currency, it will vary)

    Sorry last question, are the Rene Hurse tubeless?

    • @AndreasIhm
      @AndreasIhm  3 года назад

      Yes they are tubeless.
      You can see the us or euro prices on open’s website or the canadian prices by following the link in the description.
      All open frames are carbon.
      Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

    How much does it weigh?

  • @lukasniemann5296
    @lukasniemann5296 3 года назад +2

    That’s not how you cut a fork. The tool has a slit so that you can put the saw between so that the cut is perfectly straight without turning/twisting the fork and making sure the tape is straight. Also the tool doesn’t go into the vice that way. Probably should google how to use use tools before making videos showing how not to do it

      Hey man, thanks for your feedback.
      You are welcome to use any tools the way you want. I use them the way I can make the best job and in this case the cleanest cut possible.
      You are welcome to share your knowledge and your skills by starting your youtube chanel and contribute to the community.
      This is how I cut a fork because I want a clean, straight and with no carbon splinters cut.
      Show me your best.
      Thanks for watching ✌🏻
