YES. That was one of the biggest mental shifts as a writer I made early on. It changes everything about how you look at time, cost of goods, profit ... all of it. If I only ever looked at myself as a writer, I honestly don't think I'd have made it. LMK if there's anything else I can help you with!

Yes! Yes! Yes! This has saved me so much time and created a lot of clarity for my clients! Still have a few white glove things to implement, but just having a system in place has made a huge difference in my business.
Also, I am curious to know how you went from being a service-based business to offering products as well. How did you decide what to create first and how did you allocate time to product development while maintaining everything else in your business?
@@erintannehill LOVE this, Erin. Kk. First of all, I meant it when I said it's running 2 businesses under 1 roof. You feel that. I organically moved into a DIY version of my 1-on-1 service when I began getting asked to provide the service more times than I had time to do. I also wanted to provide a more inexpensive version of it-that became Copywriting for Creatives. I had to focus HARD on batching days-it's difficult for my brain to go back and forth on both sides of the business in a day from a creator standpoint. From a manager standpoint, I'm kinda decent at it but it's still tough. I'll talk about this more in a time blocking vid I have coming up! xx

Just found you and love your videos. Subscribed. Question though...if you use Honeybook why do you need Asana and all the additional things? Doesn't Honeybook do all that itself? I'm asking because I was about to get it and now it sounds like it doesn't do what I thought if it needs so many add ons. Also, do you connect loom with Honeybook and is it free?
GREAT question, buddy! Asana is a more robust project management platform - Honeybook is a CMS (Client Management System) we like it for a LOT of reasons, but we prefer Asana for task management! :)
