Very good content! With two charming content creators.
It just did not convince me regarding landing big international clients with a subscription based model.
It may works in digital. But I dont see it working in retail, when you need to deliver countless print materials for +10 brands and +40 markets..
    What do you think, Lex?

Interesting. There's a world in which anything could be turned into a subscription and there's a world in which we're forcing a square peg into a round hole for no reason. For me, it comes down to how I want to work and what my clients want from me and if there's some consistent demand there for the same thing, turning it into a productized service can make sense. But if you like variety and flexibility, no need to force yourself in a model that's not gonna work, you know? This productization thing is most exciting for people who were getting burned out in delivery I think

How do you niche in SEO/Digital Marketing? This would cause conflicts of interest.

Can you elaborate on why it would case a conflict of interest?

@@PhilipWallage If you have a client that sells widgets on Younge Street and you get them on page 1 of the SERP and their business starts booming. Another client on Younge Street sells the same widgets he saw the success and now wants you to repeat it for them. Is this a conflict of interest especially because the same knowledge and data you got from the first client can be applied to the second client? I was in that exact scenario. I had a client for 8 years that started out with a handful of clients I got him to page 1 for several valuable search terms and now he does over a mil a month in revenue. Another company in the same city same business saw the same success and asked me to do the same for them. My first client found out and got rid of me right away (the market is much bigger than one company). I now only work with the second client, it's ok though I will get them to a mil a month in revenue by the end of this year.

@@PhilipWallage If they are in the same market and same niche then it could cause a conflict. I had a client and another client approached me in the same niche same market so I said sure I will work with you. My first client found out and cancelled our business relationship.
I think my first response got deleted.

I see! Yeah, surely with SEO and SEA you can have conflicts. But at the same time, if two companies in the industry will run Google Ads, they’ll compete. They might use different agencies but still compete.
