I use to be a “fan.” I enjoyed his brutal honesty and edgy humor. Then I found out about the whole shiloh scenario, and then the Billie situation did it for me.

Teacher/student boundary. You're not supposed to. The onus lies with the elder of the 2 to behave. So it was on him to not invite a fan into the house in the first place. Period. Technically grooming starts at cohabitation with a minor in your fandom. Period. A nobody/pleb could theoretically cohabit with a minor as like a parental figure. But he is not a nobody. He was a celeb. (Not anymore). He should have known this & it's not our fault he didn't realize the difference between a pleb & a mentor/protégé relationship....

@@micdan8000 there's no documented proof of an opinion. It is of my opinion she never should have been let into the house because this breeches the societal contract between fan/celebrity. Mentor/protégé. When you are of a certain level, you do not let that sh*t into your house. I don't have to even have an opinion about any behaviors after the fact because the source fact is she never should have resided there. That was the mistake. The adults open the invitation. To their fandom. No. It's like the don't feed trolls rule. Don't invite in fans.
I remember watching Onision’s channel “UhOhBro” when I was in Middle School. Im 19 now. I used to watch his “fat, thick, skinny” or whatever the hell it was every day. Actually listening to and valuing his harmful and gross comments about people’s bodies. So many young women in the comments thinking they had to change or guys would think they were gross (because yk…onision said so). It was such a weird era on RUclips

Greg is a mix of that cousin and the weird uncle that makes you wonder why your family still invites him. Then you realize they don't, he just shows up anyway and makes everyone uncomfortable.
It seems like Social Repose has grown and learned from his past, and I’m very happy about that. I do hope that it stays that way, and he only continues to evolve as a person.
And, for the sake of his own mental health and professional career, I hope that this video becomes the last one he ever covers about Onision. Even if it’s something small, such as a reference or call back - it’s better for him in general to forever ignore him and move on. Onision is seemingly incapable of learning from his past and moving on, while Social Repose can. It would be the ultimate power move to make this the final statement, and it would be a very fitting one. A “check mate”, if you will. Nothing more needs to be said from here on out.
Honestly it's so weird to me that Onision takes sarcasm at literal face value and weaponizes the context.

It’s remarkable how the people involved all moved on quite well, but strangers with weird parasocial attachments keep hanging Ritchie on the cross for his transgressions. He cheated. It wasn’t great. In the grand scheme? Not nearly worth all the energy expended to punish him. But no, no abuse, just run of the mill cheating. Not married, no children involved, no property purchases, just a couple that were dating.

I believe that Social Repose is (allegedly) an inverted n*rcissist himself (Onision is (allegedly) a regular n*rcissist. They're quite similar, in my opinion. It's easy to "move on" when you're the one hurting people.

I started watching him and Shane back in 09 it's been an insane ride over the years! I've watched everyone play out their lives and grow up beside me. It has made a for an odd parasocial reality within my dissociative disorder.
I also have a dissociative disorder. I wonder if it’s common for those of us with this issue to hang onto RUclipsrs from the 2010s? I don’t think I had this issue at the time so maybe these RUclipsrs mark a peaceful time for me but I live for onision Shane Dawson and social repose content 😂 I’m totally still living in 2010

Do you remember the RUclipsr *It's Black Friday* ? I remember I came across Onision when I watched one of her videos and through all that 'drama' I somehow found your channel. Have you ever met It's Black Friday? (She and I used to live in the same city in germany, I met her at Wave Gothic Event sometimes)

I stopped watching Onision back in 2018 and just recently checked up on what he's been doing and you couldn't be more right about him. He is still living in the past. He just uploaded some new videos on both his channels today saying he's not giving up on RUclips and I swear, it's the same type of content he made 10 years ago. It's like he stopped growing mentally 10 years ago. He must have maxed out his ability to grow mentally and change accordingly. How can he come back when, one, RUclips disabled his adsense account and, two, his new content is no different from his 10 year old content. It's not the beginning of the end for Onision, it's the end of the end.
