Good tips, I would add that it's good to charge your batteries if they're lead acid a couple times during the winter and charge them up with a charger before you go out since they degrade pretty fast when they're at a low state of charge and jumping and running the boat for a few minutes is stressful on them and doesn't really give a full charge and battery chargers are not real expensive.
I'm glad you said to put the drain plug in and showed the viewers doing it yourself. It sounds dumb but I have seen more than a few folks forget to put it in after an extensive check of everything else. Here's to another great year on the water !
