How can she have that voice? It's like an auto-tuned voice, but it's real.
This is not auto tune, she was out of pitch so much in the beginning especially, you can’t hear auto turn, unless you use it on purpose as an effect, not for correcting your pitch. This is 100% live, or it would be perfect like in the recorded version. And she broke the long note at the end, probably on purpose, cause she still had the rest of the concert to do, and didn’t wanna waste her voice on holding a high, long note, knowing that most people don’t care anyway. Same when I sing, or play the piano or organ, it’s always a cost benefit calculation about how much you can’t make the song easier for yourself, without it taking too much away from the performance, that the piece or song loses it’s identity.
This is the story of a girl, so talented; that her voice transcended her looks. Please let's have more artists like Alessia Cara.
