you do that at all the seams. Means you need to have a MINIMUM of 6inches of overlap. You can have more if you want, but need to have at least 6inches of overlap.
Is this still the preferred method? I have a remodel to do that already has plywood sheathing installed and home owner wants 1” sm installed. seeing a lot of back and forth with tyvek over foam and under foam.
Literally the best instructional video on the topic.
Amazing how much information you can share without any dialog. Everything was very clear and helpful.
Clap Clap Clap! Thank You for not sucking my Cell Data Connection, just a few megs of data is all it took to finely detail this install...Awesome!
Extremely useful little video! Thanks for putting this up guys.
I watched various other videos where GCs put the Tyvek underneath the rigid foam insulation, what's the difference when applying vinyl siding?
At 00:44. What does that mean? “Minimum 6” vertical and horizontal overlap? Why and when do you do that?

Interesting how there are a few ways to do this. Some only put house wrap on sheathing then the foam and finally lathe and stucco
there is another video showing the homewrap is under the rigid foam board. What is the difference?
Finally music I can tolerate
Thanks for watching, 77Avadon772!

If you tape the edges of the rigid foam you don’t need the wrap at all.
I wish they did brain surgery videos. cake.
