Gia, dumneavoastra vorbesc limba Romina asa frumos ca si ieu va inteleg. Eu sunt un romin dar nu am fost la Rominia nici odata. Dear Gia; This is the first time in nearly sixty years, that I wrote a sentence in Romanian. It is my native language and spoke nothing but Romanian until I was eight. I've never been to Romania and yet in my mind I still consider it my home. Thank you for helping me relearn it :-))
The people are super friendly, but shy at first. We found that when we drink with them, they open up more. The outdoors are very nice and the grocery food is good quality. And yes, we had a much faster internet connection in our rented apartment in Romania than we did when we got back to our home in the States.
Cine ar fi crezut? How did I miss Romanian all these years? I've watched all of your videos over the past month. Thanks very much! I often find that you answer my questions within the next few sentences. The bilingual subtitles are also very helpful, also your very excellent explanations and translations in English. How did you learn to speak English so well?
Happy to hear that you find the videos helpful, thank you! Listening to music with lyrics in English (that I used to copy on papers) and watching series helped me a lot. I was pretty obsessed with understanding lyrics and poems :)
1st there good palce in the world 2nd depend of people 3rd look wich is the most country visited by turist in europe The Top 10 Most Visited Countries in Europe (2020) France - 86.9 million visitors. ... Spain - 81.8 million visitors. ... Italy - 58.3 million visitors. ... United Kingdom - 37.7 million visitors. ... Turkey - 37.6 million visitors. ... Germany - 37.5 million visitors. ... Austria - 29.5 million visitors. ... Greece - 27.2 million visitors.
The fourth point is great if you are setting up a business but makes Romania less interesting as a tourist destination. I find Romanians are generally less encouraging to foreigners who want to learn Romanian than say Poles, Greeks or Serbs are to foreigners who want to learn their languages.

Hi! I'm glad to help you with your spoken (and not anly) Romanian if you want. I'm a native speaker, and I really would like to teach it. So just give me your instagram (mine is @pavel.moraru2) or reply me to this comment with a way we can get in touch.

Most of these things, except the last two apply more to people living there. You're right that Romania has a very bad reputation. I know it's not really fair to comment on places I haven't been, but most of the Romanians that live in my town aren't the nicest people. But I always like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, because there's always another side to the story. And every country has its good and bad sides. But sadly, sometimes the bad stereotypes turn out to be true, and end up over shadowing the good. But the mentality of the young people seems to be changing, and the country seems to be progressing, so I have hope, because the country really DOES have a lot to offer.
I'm learning Romanian (my husband is from Romania) and I like how you write the English subtitles under the Romanian words.
Happy to hear that :)

I found them very friendly, relaxed... I felt right at home! And it seems everyone in Bucharest speaks English really well

Bună ziua Gia. I was wondering if you could give me some phrases for not feeling well. A really good one would be (I have a cold/I'm sick)

Sorry but my keyboard is adapted mostly for Spanish and English.
Seems nice country. The language is a gift to the ears.
