How many of the products featured in today's video have you ACTUALLY HEARD OF before?? Let us know 🤣😂🤣😂
The UK might be a relatively small country, but you have to remember how much history we have and therefore, how much stuff has been invented here! 😂 Foodstuffs included. I've not heard of like 1/3 of the things you guys have tried in these videos and I've been here my whole life!
Part of it is also that Wales and especially Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own brands that, usually, don't really become common in England (where most of us live) so there's a lot of things that aren't available for us to begin with.
No shade BTW, just hoping to shed some light on why some of the things you guys try are still a mystery to some of the British viewers. Love your vids!
Chew-its are a staple from years back.
@theragepig7636 sorry " most of us live ", density of population possibly. Taste NO .
Well the camel thingymebobs are definitely not British... But all the others are definitely commonly available sweets... You should definitely try blackjacks & fruit salads if you want to go old school. But also flying saucers, toffee logs & white mice...
Never heard of Camel balls. Not surprising as they are Spanish.
I am 28 in September and I remember them from high school/ I am not really a fan of sweets but kids in school used to eat them. I totally forgot they existed till I saw this video. They were popular in the UK in the late 2000's and early 2010's
Cherry drops ruuule ❤️❤️
rhubarb and custard are top tier though
Why bite, why chew, have you no way to suck...
Why not say Maynard's properly (May - like the month, joined to h_ard_ _minus_ the 'h' tis so easy) for the sake of a 🦆!
Most British hard sweets, we don't chew
And the heck do "camel balls" come from .. ewwww!!
Can't wait to see what you do and think of next to try...
To the US, none of the mispronounced sweeties, make me want to fly!
Vimto is 'vim_toe' as said...
Gee whiz, guys, get it right, get it into your head
In banter, I type, with partial intent...
To improve your vocabulary... How to say stuff, I meant.
Chewits are a staple, and old recipe and yummy
Added to children's sweets treats by daddy or mummy.
Have you tried a Fredi, oh I think you did, once before...
You're never be a Brit, if not nailed to that door!! 30_pence, we're being robbed!
Have you eaten our biscuits, have you been "Hobnobbed"?!
Have you tried Parkin, Chelsea Buns,
Profiteroles (choux buns with chocolate and cream)
I love profiteroles...mmm, of such, can I dream!!👍❤🤫😅😂🏴🤔🇬🇧🤭♥️🖖
This is a fact they rule
Army and Navy boiled sweets are for me are ultimate as are cough candies. Never heard of camel balls.
Are you sure English is your first language guys? Tbf a lot of Americans struggle to pronounce words they aren't familiar with but it does make me chuckle. Keep up the good work
How cheeky is that! American dialect is English, just spoken differently just like you find English in Britain, there's so many variations and dialects are constantly changing. You obviously speak perfect Kings English I take it
@whoflungdung1046 it's a fair comment. I do like the guys very much, they are great
They joke about their pronunciation themselves if you watch regularly. It was tongue in cheek ffs.
@@whoflungdung1046Way to take a bit of banter and go over the top about it. 🙄
@@carolinestirland3126we took no harm in it at all! 😁😁😁😁 We're can dish it out and take it 🤣😂🤣😂
When I went to America and Canada (same trip), I brought some Cherry drops with me. I gave some to virtually every person I stopped and had a lovely chat with. Every single person in both countries said they were OMG AMAZING and they were going to buy a truck load online. These sweets are ELITE!!! Doesn't matter if they do or don't have any liquid in them, the flavour is sooooo good. I was going to send you some over aswell around Christmas time...now I don't have to.
Different strokes for different folks!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂 Just not our typical go to sweet I guess!! With that being said, we really appreciate the thought behind potentially sending them to us!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Also, we've always wanted to visit Canada as well!!
@@BLANKSnooneaskedfor I know, I'm just abit gutted that you guys didn't love them. They were a childhood sweet which everyone loved. You should definitely go to Canada, it's lovely. I went to Toronto first for a few days, then to Niagara Falls for 3 days (which was the main reason for my visit) then onto New York for 4 nights to see Rockefeller centre's Xmas tree. I became very unwell a few years ago and when I got better, I said I would see everything on my bucket list. These were just a few. Wish I could show you guys where I live, you would love it. It's the first place in the UK to have a post code(air code). Plus lots of films were filmed there including Avengers, Stardust and Jingle Jangle.
BST is British Summer Time 😉
You guys should check out some of the vintage ads for the stuff you try - junk food ads in the UK were on a whole different level back in the day!
We'll definitely have to do that!!
For VIMTO pronunciation just think PINTO or RINGO.
VIM toe
You lads have got to try Black Jacks ! lots of comments about them , they are an EASY O.M.D
ever had Black Jack Ripple Ice cream, I needed to change my pants
I second this although I prefer actual Licorice Toffees
Yeah, but you’ve got to eat them at least two at a time. They’re very small these days. Me, I’d eat 4 or 5 at once.
I’ve had a black jack ice cream from Iceland
But not a ripple
Where can I get them
I have never heard of camel balls, I think Alan's pranking you with that one 😂
They are a thing the liquid inside is red like blood they did not bite into them
Yeah, I too have never heard of these in the UK before. Although they had a bad rating in the video, I'm intrigued and have to find some to try 😆
@@nimux88we await your review 🤣😂🤣😂
My local corn shop has them. I'm in middle of Derbyshire. Try the littler shops. @@nimux88
Nice to see you guys trying something other than our crisps
We'll try just about anything 🤣😂🤣😂
The hard/boiled sweets are kinda old-school... we get a load of varieties in tins for car journeys, with a fine sugar dusting, they sell them in garages to pensioners. They're all pretty nice but basically just flavoured sugar.
Great clip again guys !. Pretty sweet in fact....😊
See what you did there 😜😜😜😜
Army & Navy tablets and Cough Candy are my faves.
Never heard of Camel Balls. Very weird.
I'm glad you don't like the Vimto (Vim-toe) thing- leaves more for us. Everything is better when it's Vimto flavoured. Takes me straight back to my childhood.
Vimto Jelly Babies were amazing...this particular product just wasn't our fav 😅😅😅😅
OMG Taylor with the Cliff Clavin like facts today.
The man is a wealth of knowledge
Funny bought cherry drops last week. I love them.
Chewits are the essential british sweet shop cheapish/chew sweets.
The extreme apple ones are the best apple chews ever.
But back in the day.....ice cream and cola flavours where the bomb.
RiP regular chewits.
Ice-cream were amazing!!! Do they do them anymore? Plus the dinosaur on rollerskates advert was epic “I like to chew it chew it”
you need Parma Violets, Floral Gums, Coltsfoot Rock, Sherbert Lemons, Black and Rasps, Victory V's, Original Fisherman's friends, uncle Joe's Mint Balls, and some proper Choc Limes,
Sucking on a fishermen's friend is quite the experience.
They have already tried Palma Violets. Both the small and large ones and hated them!
@@pobstrelyeahhhh not a great experience for us unfortunately 🤣😂🤣😂
Heard of Camel Balls from another reaction last week. New to me.
Definitely a one and done 🤣😂🤣😂
I like the shirt Zack! you guys made me want to try some new snacks!
That Wolf guy's pretty talented 😜😜😜😜 We're going to eat ourselves into a snack / sweet coma here shortly 🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks guys have a good week see ya next Tuesday
You as well Robert!! 😁😁😁😁
I am no candy or sweets person but I totally forgot those camel sweets existed I remember seeing kids in my high school eating them (I am 28 in September). Also there are several flavours of Chewits and they are basically a Starburst competitor but they have other sweets/candies too that are different to Starburst
Is that Turkish Delight??? 😂😂❤
Sherbet lemons for the win! 🍋
Hiya Lads, sorry about the rant the other day, I don't mean it, I'm glad you like our sweets, most of were UK OK, some were lush aswel, you should try black Jacks and Fruit Salad (to tell you the truth I don't like Black Jacks) but I do like Fruit Salad, this is Choppy
You're all good buddy!! We appreciate you being here! 😁😁😁😁
im english born an bred an have never ever heard of them b4, the camel balls,🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 im pleased i havent to be honest lol.
Yeah you should consider yourself lucky 🤣😂🤣😂
I've never seen or even heard of Camel Balls
I loved cherry drops when i was a kid. Just suck on them for ages 👀🤣
Camel balls? Never heard of them but at least they weren't hairy🤣
That would have been the nail in the coffin!
Fini Camel Balls are Spanish you can find them in local corner shops and such but not everywhere
Yes, the cherry drops are hard but it's so they last longer, it used to take me 5 mins to suck on one but that makes last longer (I know that sounds bad) lol
In my town there is a very popular powdered sugar product people really go nuts for, called Ket.
The Camel Balls 🐫, not going any where near my mouth even if I was stranded in the Ghobi Desert . Maynard sweet of my childhood . You are bringing back sooooo many memories. Sherbert Dip among others . My Father has a particular love for anything liquorice. 😢 I admire your willingness to open your mouths , not only to taste , but to honestly comment 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Why is everyone spelling it sherbert? It's sherbet!
ohhh wow you guys not replaces Josh yet LMAO another good video
Bloody lovely
I am 47, born and lived in England my whole life and I have never heard of Camel balls 😂🐪
Consider yourself fortunate 🤣😂🤣😂
@@BLANKSnooneaskedfor 😂😂😂👍
The Cherry drops are proper old school sweets or candy, but the rest are random.
Blue raspberry was created because people assumed all red candy was either strawberry or cherry flavoured. They decided raspberry sweets couldn't be packaged in red as it confused people. Hence blue raspberry was born.
Vim toe, just incase someone hasn't said
Choose It! 😂😂
Hahahahaha nailed it 🤣😂🤣😂
No no no! Camel balls are awful. However, cherry drops are the dogs 🤤
I'm surprised anything got above ukok. Sweets aren't exactly great, but are just something you shove in your mouth to pass time or boredom. Chocolate is on a different level.
I'm going to send you victory vs
That's cruel! What did the Blanks do to upset you?🤣🤣
How mean!!! But I love it 😂
@@VickyAitchuh oh...should we be concerned 🤣😂🤣😂
Never heard of camel ball sweets
I love cherry drops! They are super nice! Never heard of ummm camel balls! And no camel balls are going in my mouth!!!
Whitebark raspberry native to north America. Rubus Leucodermis. The real blue raspberry.
Try Bonds Of London hard candy Rhubarb and custard pear drops mint humbugs lemon sherberts unbelievably f yummmmmmy
I am guessing the canel balls are not the dogs bollocks.
Hahahahaha you are correct in more ways than one 🤣😂🤣😂
Strawberry/lemon bon bons are great from UK
I like the white as well.
Cherry drops have sherbet in the middle.
Vimto is a fruit drink originally. Never heard of camel balls ..... well not as a sweetie😂
Hahahahaa you're not missing anything!!
I'm English and have NEVER come across the camel balls.
I should hope so.
We all stand up at 6pm
Hahahahaha all rise for British Standing Time 🤣😂🤣😂

these sweets must be for the yoof of today I'm 71 with a lifetimes experience of British sweets I've never heard of any of them
You have never heard of chewits mate? They started in 1963 and were huge sellers for decades.
Chewits yes (the monster) but not that flavour @@villain8013
Not sure when the blue raspberry chewits were introduced but the sour lemon xtreme chewits were the 90s i think. Vimto just create vimto flavoured anything. Camel balls are old and more importantly Spanish. Finally come on dude Cherry Drops are older than you.
nope
@@misolgit69 Maynard Bassett cherry drops are more recent but both companies made them before the merger and cherry drops in one form or another have been around since the early 1900s
As An Englishman any sweets flavoured with cherry is the work of the devil, children’s liquid medicine over here can be cherry flavoured,i had plenty and now i despise it 😃
I think that is a part of the problem too is all of the cherry flavored medicine out there 😅😅😅😅
This is a good mesusre of how much salt and sugar are in uk foods vs us. If you can't taste a cherry drop, you all are doomed
Don't get us wrong, we have had some very good UK sweets but this one just didn't hit the spot for us 😅😅😅😅
I apologise if im late to the party but you need bad boy sweets Fruitella like chewits but better. The bad boy was an ironic marketing thing
Never heard of camel balls
Acid drops are the dogs
From your surprise at the veininess, I assume that you dont know that balls is an English slang for testicles. The camel balls is indeed a gas station candy.
Set of USOK people
Yeah we're pretty run of the mill...nothing special here 🤣😂🤣😂
Oh... can you feel the tension between the guys, this episode? :-(
We just like giving each other a hard time 🤣😂🤣😅
Guys, do you lovely Americans butcher every word in the English language? 😂😂😂😂
Vimto is primarily a drink (I can't remember if you've tried it or not?) with lots of Vimto flavoured candies being subsidiary products, as a kid I'd visit my gran and her local fish and chip shop always sold hot Vimto which was lovely, especially as she lived in the mountains and it was always cold and raining, seeing as you all seem to be struggling to pronounce things today, lets see if you can pronounce my gran's village which is called 'Blaenau Ffestiniog' aka the town which roofed the world as it was home to the worlds largest slate mine.
I used to go to Blaenau Ffestiniog on holiday loads as a kid. We stayed at The Fairy Glen Hotel, is it still there? xxx
@@sharonbunn2363 It's not a hotel which rings a bell for me I'm afraid, but my gran died a long time ago and I don't go back there very often anymore.
@@markjones127 I just remembered this morning that the hotel was in Betws-y-coed (did I spell that correctly?) and we visited Blaenau a lot cos it was nearby. Sorry. My only excuse is it was over 40 years ago! xx My mother's family were originally from Wales and I always felt at home there.
@@sharonbunn2363 I think I remember a Fairy Glen hotel on the road just north going out of Betws but that definitely isn't there anymore, near the actual Fairy Glen beauty spot, you spelt it perfectly!
Australian sweets leave British sweets for dead.
I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of boiled sweets. I prefer chocolates defro😊
Cherry drops are horrid. Never ever heard of camel balls. You need treacle toffee and drumstick lollies pops.
Has anyone sent any Fisherman's Friends?
I made my mate put a full packet in his mouth for 5 minutes.
@@mattsmith5421 Is he still your mate? xx
@@sharonbunn2363 it was over 20 years ago, he lost the game we used to play in our youth when we were all stoned we would choose the forfeit then see who was in on the game, if you were in you did it no matter who you were, the game was we stood in a circle lit a cig you had 2 toots and passed it to your left, who ever the ash fell off on did it or both people did if they were both responsible. The fisherman's friends was a not to bad one given some of the ones, I can tell you a coffee and toothpaste butty is horrific lol.
@@mattsmith5421 Fun times ! xx
They did!!
Camal balls are Spanish not English.
Best Chewitts are blackcurrant....
you get those words out of your whore mouth, Orange or be cast down to the deepest depths of Hell
Best chewits aren't made anymore. Ice cream
The way you said Vimto was WRONG. it is pronounced "toe" not "too"
Do we get points for trying? 🤣😂🤣😂
VimTOE not "Vimtoo"
I've been watching your videos for ages and have been subscribed ages...but your general dis interest in cherry drops is inexcusable to me as these are some of the greatest sweets available!...im forced to unsubscribe unless you reevaluate your opinions. ...
It reminds us of cough medicine unfortunately 😅😅😅😅 While it wasn't "bad", we've all had cherry tainted by cough syrup 😆😆😆😆 Thanks for forgiving us 🤣😂🤣😂
I've never heard of vim- to I've had vimto pronounced vim-toe lmao you guys should know buy now we don't say things how their spelt by now hahaha
Hahahaha we just say the first thing that comes to mind 🤣😂🤣😂
@@BLANKSnooneaskedfor it's so funny to watch you butcher English lol
Cherry drops are bloody disgusting

Hate to be the one to harass you on it, but the spreadsheet is seriously un-updated.... :)
Uh oh...it's a fan made spreadsheet that we don't have access to unfortunately. If it's still not updated in a week or two we will make our own! Thanks for the heads up Kev!!
