The Toblerone breaks like a Terrys Chocolate orange if you hit a friend over the head with it , old British tradition 😊
Look everyone they’re using a knife, 😂
🤣
Fantastic Comment 😂😂
Yeahy! Thankyou for your lovely comments regarding the items I sent you. I was laughing the whole way through. Yes, I did use the pen with different colours.....so much easier to distinguish things better. I'm soooo surprised the courier accepted the can of coke after this whole mess with the box started because of that can. Still don't understand why they emptied my box and put them in 3 different boxes. Very strange. The Spuddos crisps, you need to put a handful of the crisps from the box into each of the 7 bags I sent you. Then put the seasoning in each bag, give them each a shake and try them. Personally, I like just plain salt on them as I didn't really like the seasoning. I went to America and Canada and tried the coffee over there and it was disgusting...which is why I sent you my favourite instant UK coffee. Looking forward to more of your videos. Thankyou again xxx I appreciate your lovely kind words and patience with my box xxx
I thank you too, I can't wait to see them try the nice things you sent, especially the coffee.
@@ukbusman Thankyou so much. I'm looking forward to what they think of the coffee also. I really didn't like the coffee in America or Canada..so hope they're converted 🤣
Please don't heat the mince pies I sent you as they have icing on them and it will melt and won't be nice.
I can give a little bit of insight into why the shipment was split into three, different couriers have different rules they have to follow depending on what other agents and airlines they use. OCS are not able to send food internationally unless the parcels are under a certain weight and liquids are basically a no-no on the service used unless a more expensive agent is used - basically it’s to keep the cost down and minimise extra paperwork. Glad to see they arrived safely.
[Edit] I apologize for the communication issues you were having, it was very frustrating for us as well due to the method of contact we had access to. We genuinely try to resolve issues quickly, and usually do.
Thankyou for this clarification. However I would like to add one more thing. Before paying for the box to be sent, I have to put the contents of the box on the website aswell as the size and weight of the box. If the items weren't allowed and the weight due to restrictions....then why was it accepted to begin with? Also when i was contacted by the company I sent the items with regarding the one can of liquid being the problem, why did they say they were going to take it out of the box but then when it arrived to the blanks team..it was actually in the box aswell as all the other items that were apparently not allowed to be sent eg food items?
For the hot chocolate, the instructions most likely says four heaped teaspoons of powder in a cup of boiling water.
Forget that, heat up a cup of milk in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes, then add FIVE heaped teaspoons of Galaxy powder, stir vigorously. Remember, use milk and 1 extra spoon of powder!
I second this!
Taylor asked the question " Do we heat up the mince pies?"
The answer is: as they are already cooked, they can be eaten hot or cold.
There are a couple of things to gauge that question.
If the top is pastry, you can do either way, but if the mince pie has icing ( frosting) in the top then they should be eaten cold.
In the case of the ones you have in this unpacking, have them cold with a cup of tea or coffee.
Best warm with custard or with a cuppa IMO 😋
Those teacakes are the best thing you've ever received. Ever!!!! 1 bite. Straight in. Perfect.
Anyone from the Uk, or the US every get or remember the other types of candy cigarettes you could get that had like a chocolate powder filling and edible paper? They actually looked more like cigarettes than the candy sticks and often where packaged like real cigarettes. I think you can still get them in obscure places, but I'f i'm not mistaken, they were banned from being sold in the UK.
Yes! Had these as a kid in the UK. I managed to find some a few years ago in an obscure sweet shop, but I think I you are right and they were banned.
A pub in England just held a crisp festival with 70 different flavours.
The mince pies with icing on top, eat as they are, not cook in the oven 😂 Mince pies are lovely 😍 Especially buttercream pastry ones 😋
SO glad someone sent Taylor an Orange Toblerone, they are amazing, TREMENDOUS, Better than Terry's Chocolate.
Still loving the union jack super hero cape . Fly high and proud ❤❤❤🎉
I do hope you are gentle with the Tunnock's Tea Cakes.
Mince pie's can be eaten warm or cold with a cuppa or also warm with warm custard as a dessert.
salad cream and birds eye fish fingers in a sandwich is my heaven on a plate
This was a fantastic live really enjoyed it especially Taylor's Mr England against Mr America jokes I like all of you but I find Taylor so funny and Mark I love his sense of humour to.
I really hope you guys make it to Bristol, when you get to England I think you'll need to book a month to visit a few places, you have a lot of fans all over so make sure you plan your visit well. Please come to Bristol though. 😍😍😍
I'm just glad Taylor has finally got his Orange Toblerone 😅😂
You can heat the mince pies and put some custard or brandy cream 😊
The Mason’s are a generous family. We had reruns here in the UK. I loved it. I used to get called Perry at school😅😅😅😅😅
Well I'm from Norwich too , and if you come over , you will love Norfolk
Mince pies can be eaten as they are or warmed in the oven and pour double cream on(heavy cream)❤
warming the mice pies up in the oven a bit makes a difference, then add some warm custard and its a great treat, eaten cold with a cup of tea is also common
Taylor with the bubble wrap! I used to work in the catering industry, got industrial size bubble wrap I could jump on!
The mince pies you can eat cold or warm it's upto you it is a mixed fruit filling in Victorian times they were made with proper meat mince
Noticed in a store here today that Seabrooks do a Scorpion Chili flavour... expect some for xmas if no-one sends you some before.
You can eat the mice pies cold with a cup of tea or heat them in the microwave for about 30 seconds and have with custard or ice cream
Salad cream is brilliant on chips and salad of course enjoy
To make the Mince Pies extra special, make some Brandy Butter to serve with them.
Ingredients
110g/4oz unsalted butter, softened
85g/3oz light brown sugar
85g/3oz confectioners sugar, sieved
3 tbsp brandy or cognac
Method
Put the butter in a bowl. Beat well with a wooden spoon till soft or for speed use an electric hand whisk (and if you use a food processor then there is no need to sieve the icing sugar).
Beat in both the sugars till smooth, then add the brandy. If you are over generous with the brandy it will curdle so just beat in more sieved icing sugar and it will come smooth again.
Rum Butter (made the same way) is also a good option, especially if made with a nice spiced rum.
If you receive any Christmas Pudding, also serve (hot) with Brandy Butter plus Custard or heavy cream (clotted cream is also great with it, but apparently impossible to source in the US [it needs to be fresh, don't get the stuff in a jar, it's just not right])
Currie's Red Kola, always great after a fish supper to wash away all that salt and vinegar.
Yeeeeeah! Red Kola is awesome, so hard to find in England, I buy it by the gallon every time I'm in Scotland.
Mince pies you always eat straight from the box. No heating
Eat the mince pies as they are
We do get Perry Mason in the UK but on some obscure tv channel that shows old repeats!
Galaxy hot chocolate is the best rich and flavourful.
It's a tie between Galaxy and some of the Options hot chocolate for me. I've just finished another Galaxy tub but I'm keen on the plain, mint and orange Options hot chocolates.
I would say try half of the mince pies hot, as per other comments, but try the other half cold, as some like myself, prefer them unheated, therefore it stands to reason that some of you guys may prefer them unheated.👍
I love you guys!! Greetings from a little town called Kingston upon Thames, just outside Central London.
I have not laughed so much in ages. Only just found you/ But hope you survive ok without passing out from sugar rush. I think when you get to UK/Europe your palette will really change. Portions are smaller but level of freshness of food is ACE
You obviously haven’t seen the biggest Toblerone yet!
IT'S XMAS!!!!! time for the gigantic Toblerones😸😸😸😸😸😸👍
0:01 Woah ! Steady Freddy !
Although quite big, That wasn't the largest Toblerone ever made... I remember getting a 10lb Toblerone one year for Xmas... 👍🤪
Wow, i've seen the 5 footer, is that the one you're talking about?
I remember seeing a huge one in an airport once years ago.. it was the length of a small human...like easy 4/5ft long. May have even been longer. It was massive.
But I remember that and it being close to the daim/dime bars section/displays.
Mince pies can be eaten hot or cold. 50 secs in the microwave. ❤
Not the ones with icing!
Mince pies are best warmed in the oven and served with thick cream or custard. Very popular at Christmas which is the only time I eat them or I'd be resembling the side of a house 😂😂
Not the ones I sent as they have icing on them.
Why are there people that keep recommending to cook the ones with icing!? Don't do it guys!
Hi ALL ,you can eat sweet mince pies cold or worm . Sometime I put cream on my mince pies or even custard befor now . Hopefully this will help you OUT . 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍
Mince pies can be eaten hot or cold! My favourite way is hot mince pies with a helping of fresh cream poured over them! I tried those cheese toastie Watsits yesterday, and personally, didn't enjoy at all!
Mince pie can be eaten heated or cold but when they have icing, you don't heat them [which these have].
Taylor if you like the fruit mixture yeh you can warm them up add custard or brandy butter but i just scoop the filling out and eat the pastry cold lol they are horrible to me
Do your cheese and onion sandwiches with the salad cream on top, but butter the bread !
Saved me sending Salad Cream, nice one
Yes we got the Perry Mason series in the UK. I'm old enough to remember the black & white episodes or, was that just because we didn't have a colour TV back in those days? 📺 Probably mid 1960's.
Another one to look forward to!
I Don’t heat mince pies. I would think most people don’t.
But some people do. Up to you really!😂😂
Aeros are great melted into a hot chocolate.
MC V GOLD are awsome
Guys you can have the mince pies cold or warm, they taste better warmed in the oven.
If they have icing eating them cold.
Sooooooo much good stuff here but here me out Mcvities Gold is like heaven its the most underrated its a shame they aren't big enough.
Something that would be impossible to get your hands on unless someone lived near one and that a sweatshop they are becoming less common in comparison to years ago all it is is a shop with the wall full of tubs of sweats so you go in and ask how much you want they weigh it out and put in a paper bag,
They have all kind different flavours of millions, bon bons, chocolate peanuts, chocolate raisins, choclick, cinder toffee which is what crunchy is but they are lined it with chocolate, midget jems the list in endless.
For me mince pies are better warmed up and then put whipping cream on top or single cream 😊
mince pies you can heat or eat cold- but dont do it in the microwave if you do. Most people probably eat cold.
Make a chicken salad sandwich and put salad creme on it instead of mayo.. Fire, Packet of ready salted walkers crisps on the side,
I would like to see videos of yous reacting to scottish comedies like still game and rab c nesbitt
Yes you need to watch a bit of Still Game from Scotland about Jack and Victor …
Illuminati confirmed. I saw you Josh lol
Tea cakes are a scottish treat
No. Don't heat the mince pies up. It's the all pastry ones you heat.
Please have a look at the Scottish Comedian Billy Connelly "Toblerone" Sketch!!!! its very funny. Live 1994.
Yes we get perry mason in the uk 😂. But its a old reference... showing your age there lol
You receive more than you review boys, lets get some content!
Sherbet fountains. Open them throw the liquorice in the bin and down that tube of goodness in one. (Ps. Dont unhale).
hrh taylor warm mince pies up custard or brandy cream good with them or just cream
Oooh did they bring back the lime barrel???
Great video, except for Taylor popping the bubble wrap. Only time I have wanted to act like his mother and thunk him while taking it away from him. 😅
Re: Bourbon Biscuits - It's pronounced "Bore-bon" (as in the French/Spanish royal dynasties,) NOT "Bare-bon" (as in the American corn mash whiskey.)
Mince pies - warmed up, dollop of brandy butter or brandy cream on top
Unless they are iced, then no, you eat them cold (or peel the icing off because honestly, its too sweet and ruins the pie)
Remember guys Teacakes, 2 different things/types, Teacake, The traditional teacake, you may hear say of a 'Toasted Teacake' a bread bun with raisins and often currents, sultanas, sometimes orange/lime/lemon zest/peel also. A Tunnocks Teacake, is a little chocolate biscuit with a fluffy/soft marshmallow dome, covered in a thing layer of chocolate, a bit like a moon pie or wagon wheel, but a little small half ball shape and way way way nicer (i hate soft mallow, but Tunnocks.......They just know...oh they just know, every soft mallow aspires to be tunnocks soft mallow!)
Do not get them mixed up, a warburtons (No currants or sultanas) toasted teacake with some butter, when you want one, ABSOLUTELY unbeatable, OMDs and back again!
Don’t heat the mince pies as they have icing on and it will just melt, there is no need to warm them up anyway 👍🏻
Even people in England I've noticed don't know what Red Kola is even though many do know the "hard candy" version: Kola Kubes. It's good cold, but drink it fast, it loses it's "fizz" quickly once opened.
Mince pies are best thrown straight in the bin, closely followed by Toffifee 🤢😆
Hope marks ok after getting electrocuted trying to pronounce wotsits 😂
I don't know why I found Taylor calling Josh a doofus so funny. It's definitely going into my rotation of insults now.
Regarding the mince pies Taylor - you can eat hot or cold BUT, if you go with hot then DO NOT eat them on their own - get some non-fruity custard and lash it on! I guess you know that the mincemeat filling is fruit based and not meat based - just sayin :-)
Side notes, sorry to multi comment haha, I like to watch your unboxing and UK taste test videos multiple times incase I missed something. Salad Cream is disgusting, it;s very much a love it or hate it thing, in my experience, I've always found it's more liked by women than men, I don't think I've known a man who is Salad Cream forward, but the girls, most probably keep a bottle in their endless handbags.
The Oreo coke is vile! Even my son who loves everything coke wouldn’t finish it! X
You need to inhale that UK air from contained within that UK bubble wrap...
anything that contains orange and chocolate belongs to the flag or send it back to uk
Did you get electrocuted 😅😂
I think you all are going to have a very expensive trip to the dentist
Stop poppin the bubblewrap
Was gettin on my t1ts .
Prefer your videos on food dishes. American sweets and snacks have x 10 sugar and preservatives. Not on the same planet as UK snacks
These box opening videos are boring
