I really enjoyed listening to you guys. I got so tickled hearing the story about her sitting behind her sons head and not stop talking to him during the sermon. I was wandering where your wife was and i don’t even know y’all..z😂 but i have 4 grown sons so i just laughed out loud as you told the story . Yes you should have sat by her lol or maybe call her on sat so she knows whats going on with you before church …A mom feels like shes not done right …even when her son is grown …hes still her boy …she needs to know about your life …we cant help it. THEY EXTENDED THE BLIND MOVIE FOR ANOTHER WEEK IN MY AREA
Don't think too highly of yourself, it is Biblical advice that most of us need to hear sometimes. . . I know there was a time I needed to hear it and it was preached with love at a church I was visiting and it set forth a positive change in me. . . Many decades have passed and I will never forget it.
Beware of the yeast of the pharisesee's.
We are looking forward to seeing the movie someday and sharing our stories of hope, faith, grace and love. For real. .

Since Jase brought up losing a wedding ring and the joy of finding it, I have to share this quick story!
I was on a beach in Destin, FL with my family and I thought my wedding ring was safe because I had tied it to my swim shorts... But as I was drying off, I must have untied it without thinking and my ring dropped into the sand, but I didn't realize it until a couple hours later.
For the next 2 days I went back and prayed and searched that area several times and realized in doing so the vastness of God, because it was truly too big a task for me, even when trying to listen to and follow the Spirit. Finally, on the 3rd day... and the last day of our vacation, I had already lost hope because I just knew that some treasure hunter had already found it and taken it home...
But I saw a treasure hunter just out in the surf with his metal detector and a basket. I went up to him and explained my plight (and my desperation) and he very kindly went with me to the area I was almost certain I was in when I dropped it. After less than 5 minutes of searching, he found it, and my lost ring had been resurrected after being buried for 3 days and 3 nights (or maybe 2 nights...).
I was SO excited! Unfortunately, I didn't have any money on me to give to him, but he was more than happy to help. He was a retired guy from Illinois on vacation with HIS family and just passing the time before they got up and around that day. So Bill from Illinois, thank you so much brother! Not only for saving me the shame and embarrassment of completely losing my ring, but also for the great testimony of the lost ring and God's provision in sending Bill from IL to find it for me!

Great stories!! I grew up playing all card games and sports from a very young age. Trash talk was part of it. Every. Time. Been married for 30 years now, and after the first year, my husband and I stopped playing games together! 😂😂 he doesn’t get the trash talk, and I don’t get the hurt feelings. Like Al and Jase, I had to tone it down. Pfffft. I haven’t played a card game in over 20 years with others because I’m not sure what will come out of my mouth! 😂😂
Well, all I can think of to say is, in this case, what is right is obvious.

The older brother was wrong, but it's understandable. I could see his frustration, and it shows my inner struggle at times. I'm blessed to have the blessing to ask my Lord for strength and ask for forgiveness. As humans, especially Christians, we all have growing to do, especially spiritual growth, to do every day. This is why we must continue to pray to God to give us the strength to fight having negative thoughts and instead have good, positive and wish happiness for our fellow brothers and sisters, especially those who are trying or have found their way back to the Lord.
I think when we are saved we become God’s little ones. Any time He talks about little ones He means His children I think.
You don't have to teach children to lie, they already know how to do it, you do however have to teach them to tell the truth. We are born into rebellion against GOD because we have human fathers
Jase is simply in error on this one... Despite the popular belief that sheep are stupid, they are actually incredibly intelligent. They have very impressive cognitive ability and just like humans, they form deep and lasting bonds with each other, they stick up for one another in fights, and they grieve when they lose a friend.

I played on the Church Softball league, I wasn't the greatest ball player but I could usually get on base!

I’ve been told that there is a difference between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of God is spiritual while the Kingdom of Heaven is the 1000 year physical reign of Christ. Anyone else think this?

There's a difference between a rich man and a wealthy man! The wealthy man money follows! The rich man money leads! Meaning he's a slave to it because he doesn't need god just his master!

Jase there is proof of older son was the Jewish religious leader. Jesus was telling this story about the older son, to those leaders. Remember, there where no "titles" or chapters and verses, so prodigal son was added when King James wrote his version. Hope you read.
In Jewish times the oldest brother is the leader, we see it all though the Bible, and the 1st thing the oldest son (pharisees) should have done was stop the younger brother. He had every right to but he remained silent. As did the leaders do as the people of God fell into sin. Jesus knew that is exactly what the pharisees would be thinking. And now that the younger son had returned he was not happy but should be due to the younger son now has returned, but has nothing and will forever be indebted to the older son. Jesus is pointing out they have failed as Jewish leaders to the Jewish people and instead of helping, guiding and teaching them they would rather "wait outside"
Not sure where or when I learned this, may have been Greg Laurie. Many times when studying scripture we have to remember the times and the culture. Like to go on a deep dig research what the custom was and think still is when a Jewish Couple gets engaged.

Ephesians 5:3-4 talks about coarse jesting with others. It's rude and uncalled for. We should be aware of others and treat them with love, not putting them down for something as meaningless as a card game.
Why does Jase call his mother and father by their first names. I find that disrespectful. No offense just how I feel.
