Good job guys i used your video as a reference for my forte gt . Couldn't figure out for the life of me and this video is the closest ive gotten. Thanks
Did they fit as they should??? I’m trying to do the research
Without the bigger guy this would never get done. So hats off to him.
Always down for a good supervisor session in the shop lol 😆
@@kylehampshire749 will this fit the SEL? Also 2021?
@Kealana San Nicolas as far as I know the SEL is a torsion beam rear suspension, they make drop kits for them but it different from mine with the multi link rear suspension.
@@kealanasannicolas2679did you ever lower your 21’ SEL? I’m looking into it
Excellent video gentlemen.
Omg the front doesn't have the design where the bottom of the strut sits in the pinch-bolt elbow of the knuckle?? That makes life so much easier.
Very nice. Good job guys. Thanks a lot.
Our pleasure!
Nice! do you think compressing the rear stocks springs before pulling it out is doable? Just to lessen the bolts needed to be removed.
Yes I think it might be possible however we found this to be a little easier and quicker.
Its probably possible but its in a tight area and the lower arm has a wide lip so you would have to come in at a funny angle.
@@kylehampshire749 right , if I could avoid removing and moving the camber bolt I would try first haha. Will order mine soon! How's the ride? I'm used to Eibachs from my previous Hondas, if you've used eibachs can you compare it to them?
@@pss0520 i have not had eibach springs before.
@@pss0520 How the actual fuck did you guys pull the rear springs out so easily? I've been at it for an hour now and this shits impossible. I've managed to get spring compressors on and I'm currently tightening it and the spring doesn't even play. I'm just wondering how much force you actually put on the nuckle...
Upgrade to 245 tires. Better ones at that anyways trust me. Also get a engine mount and trust me on that.
I ordered yellow speed coilovers for my Elantra N-line
Can I get the link of where you ordered the coil overs for the n line bro ?
@@roman6627 RUclips will delete the link so just search yellow speed racing Elantra N-line coilovers
Thinking of installing these myself rather than paying $500 for a shop to do it. I don't need any special tools like a spring compressor?
I would definitely recommend spring compressors
Those storm springs, do they fit both cars the N and the N line model??
Tanks
Maybe an ignorant question, but why lower it further than it is? I came out of a 13 GLS and my NLine feels like I'm already on the ground and the wheel gap is already pretty tight...
I dropped it for a few reasons,
1 was no one had done it yet on the shark springs.
2 i come form the JDM and drift sceens so everything needs more low lol.
3 the car has a natural squat on hard acceleration, with a 6 speed car it feels like every shift the ass moved 6in up and down.
I plan on doing some autocross this year so eliminating the ass hope was the main reason for it.
@@kylehampshire749 gotcha! Thanks for the reply!
How did you get the top hate bolt off?
Does anyone know if the n line springs fit a regular Elantra? ( I have a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Limited)
No but shark racing offers a kit for yours
Have u guys driven this for autocross at all?
I am planning on trying to run some autocross this spring and summer.
What torque specs did you use?
Will these fit a 21 Elantra SEL?
Yes storm makes a variety for different vehicles which is on shark racing 's website
So would I be able to follow the same process on the 2021 Elantra SEL it has the regular rear torsion beam (CN7) ?
Mostly but it's totally different
Soo my front wheel springs i took it off and am putting the new springs on but the nut won’t compress it back down ?
What springs are you using?
Hey where did you get the license plate mount?
I actually got it off ebay.
Do you have the link by any chance?
@@NBABY-J where i have mine setup it barely covers it but i dont mind cause i debadge my car and did a Brenthon badge kit
I got a tinted frame that the plate snaps into then I zip tied it from the back to the bottom right of the bumper/grill and it’s pretty clean!
