Very in-depth review. I have a small green house where I grow different foods year round and this would be really good for the winter especially. Going to look at these sensorpushes!
Hey there! Yep I still use them and check them daily. I love them! Never had a single issue with them once. Battery life has been 0 maintenance so far. I assume in 1-2 more years I might have to change the batteries but not worried about that at all plus it’s pretty far out there in the future. I still highly recommend these sensors from SensorPush to anyone who asks about them. Just an overall fantastic product that does its job perfectly. Not much more I can say! 👍🏻
@@Slimothy Thanks so much! I'm very intrigued with these devices....now I need to convince the Mrs. the cost is worth the intrigue - lol. Thanks again, I appreciate you taking time to comment.
I think some are rated for outdoor use but don’t quote me on that. Check the link below in the description but I could have sworn some can be used outdoors (covered). Their customer support is great and I bet if you asked them to confirm they’ll reply pretty quick
Very good review. I do have one question though. Does the app send real time data? Or does it only send data every 10-15 minutes? I’m looking for temp. monitoring in my generator shed so I can make sure it doesn’t get too hot while I’m running it.
Thank you for the review I actually bought this for my Davidoff humidor. I’m really glad I saw this review I decided to go with the HTPxw sensor. My question is I have it calibrating right now in one of the Boveda calibration kits when that is done is there anything else I need to do before I put it inside my humidor besides setting some alerts? Again thank you for this review. I’m also getting the gateway this week.
You’re most welcome! I personally didn’t calibrate mine with those Bovedas. I spoke to the owner of SensorPush and he said they should be good out of the box. But nope there’s nothing else you need to do! Enjoy them. Mine have been so helpful. 👍🏻
how long does this take to climatize? hoping to get this to do building inspections for HVAC. love the graph and export functions the most. will help in my reports!
Mine didn’t take long, but I think they have official info on that on their website. Mine seemed to be good after less than 24 hours. I’d say 3-4 hours. But just wait 1 day to be sure in my opinion.
@@Slimothy thank you for your quick response! that's a bummer for me though. i need a meter that can climatize within a few minutes. this way when i move from lets say an office to the UPS room i can quickly get a reading. what brought me to this meter was the logging and exporting which is awesome for when i have to do the report.
Hmm. I thought you were referring to initial climatization. My guess is it’s actually a lot quicker if moving from one room to another after it’s been in ambient air. You might want to contact SensorPush they’re usually really responsive I’m sure they can answer it :)
what other devices can be connected to the gateway besides the sensors, in other words can i connect a tablet and or smart appliance to the gateway or just the sensors ?
In the Amazon listing Q&A it says there is no limit to the number of connected sensors per gateway and they know of customers connecting a dozen or more.
With no gateway? 60ft maybe line of sight. Basically anywhere in a house. It uses Bluetooth. If you get a gateway too, you can be anywhere in the world since it’s synced to the cloud. I mention this in the video more in depth but that’s the jist of it
Bluetooth range so depends on your setting. Maybe 30-60 ft. I’ve never had an issue and I’ve had them all over one of my 4,000 sqft homes and also at the studio. No issues.
I don’t quite understand, that would only flood you if you set it up with tight tolerances that you can’t keep, in which case temp/humidity management would be more important at that point. Unless I’m misunderstanding you haha

I think it would be perfect for that!
First!! Nice pic for the video btw i like the 3d effect
Thanks! We were experimenting with a few ideas and I thought that one looked the coolest
Dope video bro 👌🏻 these look good for using in my guitar case maybe?
Hey man yeah I think that would work well. Don’t forget to set alerts just in case!
Thank for the video. You've been using them now for over a year. Are you still happy with them? What is the batter life? Thanks again

Can I have the sensor mounted on the balcony. 24/365. Is it for outdoor use as well?

It’s real time, you can sit and watch the app update every minute! 👍🏻 it’s super precise.
@@Slimothy sweet! Thanks for the quick response. It sounds like I may end up going this route!

Can they be place in a deep freezer ? I saw in the description it did say in a freezer, but I"m wanting to monitor a deep freezer.
Great question! I recommend asking the developer of the product, he’s usually really responsive. I believe you can contact via their website

Just these sensors
Great review, I just wondered if there was any way of being able to integrate this set up with Google Home?
Hmm. My guess is no, but you might want to ask the company and see if that’s planned or if there’s a way to that I don’t know of!
Do you know the max number of sensors that can link to one base station?
In the Amazon listing Q&A it says there is no limit to the number of connected sensors per gateway and they know of customers connecting a dozen or more.
I’m wondering how far could I be? Is there certain distance?

I don't think so
Can two different phones access the sensors with the gateway?
Yup! They just need to both log into the same account. It’s pretty awesome.
Thanks buddy
