Hey guys, today we are going into a temple called 'Ta Prohm' Temple in Cambodia. Archeologists think it was built in the late 12th century, so this temple is about 800 years old. What is the meaning of Ta Prohm? Ta Prohm means 'Ancestor Brahma' - Cambodians consider Brahma, the Hindu God of Creation, as one of their ancestors. But the original name of this temple was RajaVihara, which means the Rest-House of the King, in Sanskrit language .
The temple is known for 2 important features: One, is the carving of a dinosaur, specifically a stegosaurus - it is there on one of the walls, I made a video about this sometime ago. The second feature, is that trees, giant trees have taken over this temple. I mean, the way these trees have really grown and destroyed this temple is a very strange sight. How did this happen? The Cambodians abandoned this entire city and moved out about 500 years ago. This is why you see bushes and trees growing in many of the temples in this city, but this temple has some kind of weird energy that attracts plants and birds. You do see a lot of birds and of course, gigantic trees. In fact, ancient builders had predicted that this temple, would be taken over by trees, there are carvings which show exactly what would happen to the temple in the future.
There are many small shrines within this temple, let us go into one of these shrines and see what is in there. There must have been some statues originally, but today, you can see the ceiling and even the walls have collapsed. Giant stone blocks have fallen on the ground, making it impossible to determine what was originally there. If you look at the side view, it has the shape of a chariot. It is very intriguing to see how the nearby forest and the temple have slowly merged together at some point in time.
The temple has become very popular among Americans, and they take a lot of pictures while standing under these huge trees overgrown on temples. This specific location was used in the movie Tomb Raider and the temple, which was unknown until then, became a huge tourist destination after the movie.
Today, the Indian Government is funding a restoration project and the archaeology department of India is partnering with the Cambodian Government and restoring many of the structures in this temple. You can see the before and after pictures, they are doing some very good work. This temple has many interesting carvings, but many of them are destroyed by trees.
Look at the roots, they look like giant snakes taking over the temple. Here we can see a strange figure carved on the wall. What is it? It is a Naga, a 5 headed snake, but something is wrong with this picture. Where is the rest of its body? If we look at the wall, we can see some clues. We can see a leg with massive claws at the bottom, snakes don't have legs. And we can see giant wings spreading on both sides. Something spectacular was carved here. What is it?
The carving would have looked like this, this is a carving from a nearby temple. A giant bird like deity called Garuda, firmly holding down 2 Nagas with his 2 legs on the ground. And he is holding the tails of the Nagas high above his head. There is no doubt that the Ta Prohm temple once had a giant carving of this spectacular Garuda tormenting the Nagas. And sadly, this carving was deliberately destroyed by human beings, this is not the effect of nature.
But what is Garuda doing to the Nagas? In Indian Hinduism, Garuda is merely shown holding the naga with his hands or sometimes his beak. But in South East Asia, the Garuda is shown holding the Naga's head down with his legs while holding the tail above.

One suggestion: You should now start creating videos connecting the dots and create a big picture. You should start narrating a story how different pieces of puzzles are fitting together.

I find the dating of these sites very dubious. Whether in Cambodia or India, the dates seem to be assigned by academics based on where they desire them to fall in their established timeline. What I would like to see is for an existing and intact 2 blocks to be separated but the area around them completely shielded from contamination so that when the blocks are separated, no dust, pollen, or other materials can spoil the results of the test. Once that test environment is established, separate the two blocks and sample the microscopic pollen found. That pollen can be dated whereas the stone cannot. Again, just my opinion, but if that same test were done at many megalithic sites, the dates returned would be wildly different that what mainstream science would have us believe.

Thank you I have been walking again to this temple with your video. It's one of the beautiful temples in Cambodia. And you are absolutely right about the vibe you get in there. The sad thing was the stones blocking certain parts which I thought could be the important part of the temple. I am happy to know that India is working hand in hand to restore the temple. I do feel that there are a lot of things about Hindus, which we are missing out or we have yet to learn about ourselves. I would be glad to know and learn. I am very proud that our ancestors have placed their foot almost every part of the world. To support that they have built all this place. I do want to travel more. Through your videos i have learned a lot about the temples in India even without visiting them, and I just can't wait to place my foot there to see it with my own eyes. You are doing a great with your videos. i never miss your videos.Since i am brought up in Singapore, we don't have much information about temples and gods like ppl in India and that is one of the reasons we may not know that history of Indians. Lol! These're magnificent architectures and in that much old time nothing like this exist. Even in the era of Mahabharata(3000BCE) or Ramayana(5000BCE) buildings were made of woods or clay. That's why the places are still exist but the architectures are gone. Only Rama Setu and some pyramid like Hindu temple structures exist.

Let’s talk about the trees, I’d say these trees are over 3000 years old, so the trees came after the temples, are their any clues of engraved astronomy stories on these walls? The word temple, ( tempo), or ( temperature). You said the building has strange vibrations ? Are these temples built over geomagnetic Metals that create these vibrations? Great video as always,

I used to see pics of Angkor when I was a kid and began to have recurring dreams that creatures like the ones on the tomb were chasing me. One time I caught one in a can and I set it on fire. When the fire was out, I emptied the can and three Buddhas , in ashes came out , in a prayer form. I never had that dream again. I feel like I revisited that dream from so long ago. THANK YOU !!

Thank you again Praveen. Another fascinating upload. Incredibly eager to learn more about the conflict between the Naga's & Garuda. Lord Vishnu is associated with both...
His personal mode of transport is Garuda & He is usually depicted with a hooded naga above his head ( as Kesava) or lying on the coiled naga with Goddess Lakshmi at his feet ( as Narayan ).
Naga's or Serpents are found most ancient sites, temples, sculptures, stone recordings, history & mythologies, religious writings & beliefs found in every continent across the world. In his book, apprenticed to a Himalayan Yogi, Sri M cautiously describes his other wordly experience with a Naga being while meditating. The Cosmic Serpent / Kundalini is a recurring concept in most ancient cultures.
Please do a documentary exploring this fascinating connection between humans & Naga's.
