A friend brought back a Rwanda from Onibus a few weeks ago. Exceptionally clean, tons of phosphorics, and lasting sweetness. This type of new wave roasting is definitely on par with nordic light roasts with high solubility. A big shift from the darker Kissaten profiles I remember. Thanks again for the amazing episode!
What a wonderful coffee shop scene, I can virtually smell the beans. I hope they'll be up and running again soon. I'll be adding some virtual cafe's and coffee shops to help all of us coffee shop lovers that can't be in one right now. All the best to you.
2017 and still Blue Bottle and most probably other US roasters server their coffee in a paper cup to drink in house. Pretty sad I would say. in 2014 I had almost for all the 8 cafes I visited in New York to ask for the coffee in a proper cup otherwise I would have got it in a paper cup.And In 6 days I saw 1 person with a travel mug rest had paper cups.
Stefan Sigfinnsson because americans dont have time to enjoy their coffee in a regular mug. At work, people look me weird when i bring my espresso cup and my homemade coffee. They think i lose time to brew my own coffee...
Keith Mitchell yes it does but it’s quite different. Firstly there’s more pressure involved in the aeropress but most importantly there is a paper filter in the aeropress (which makes it taste much cleaner than the French press).
I’m going in about a month so thank you for showing us your travels!

I love the aero press inverted meth. Great vid.
Aeopress coffee looks a lot like French Press coffee?
Keith Mitchell yes it does but it’s quite different. Firstly there’s more pressure involved in the aeropress but most importantly there is a paper filter in the aeropress (which makes it taste much cleaner than the French press).
what's the name of the first song?
'Kyoto' by Aso
