Is there a way to make this land on text to reveal it? Like the text was hidden but then this ink dot lands on it and the paint colors everything around the text?

might be a good idea to do something like that using track mattes in AE and doing it in post!

What have I learnt today after 15 years of Cinema 4d experience? Metaball works on splines and you can use tracer in that case.
