It's a really good amplifier, but Purifi is (in my opinion) better. I don't know how purifi has better details and resonant image, maybe it depends on my whole system. My brother bought a Purifi and lent it to me, so I can compare these two amplifiers and the Purifi really sounds better. Most of the differences are in the bass, the mids are good the trebles ok, but the bass is too lazy.

Does it make a big 'plop' sound in the speakers when you switch it off, like other Hypex ?
