Not bad, but I throughout my back doing something very similar. It looks like you have to keep your body very firm and back straight to do this properly. Why not just lye down first and then kick the dumbbells into position as they're resting on the top of the knees?
I suspect that would put your back in a pretty dangerous position to get injured. Seems to me that would put a ton of pressure on your hip flexors and lumbar to try and kick heavy dumbbells up while laying down flat. It might work with lighter weights, but I can't even imagine trying to kick anything up from that position that's like 70 pounds or heavier.
@@108Existences my internal cue is deep breath, core braced, and then think about using my butt as a fulcrum to rock backwards. Back is straight for the most part.
