I do think this was one significantly scarier at times!! It really got me so much more than I thought it would, which is definitely impressive since I thought I had it figured out after watching the first one!
Trust me, nothing wrong with craving horror movies. As much as i love action, and comedy, horror is my favourite genre. I speak as a person who watched 48 horror films in October, including this one.
If you watch them in this order it will make more sense. Its an Universe. The nun The nun 2 Annabelle Creation Annabelle The conjuring Annabelle comes home The conjuring 2 The conjuring 3: the devil made me do it. 🤘🤘
🤣 Cat that one was one of your greatest Jump scares with The Old Man, You did Good! You like how it call's back to The first one And what scared Loran boom!, I think the reason the later part didn't get you as much as is because You are becoming a Veteran in these film's now ;) But oh yeah "The Nun" First appearance was what I was looking forward to because in this film universe that one is a big player, And Exactly it's a Christmas movie... 😂 You did get Cat 🤘 And you know that poor Dog next door is like "What is she doing over there!?" Priceless Good Job Cat👏
AHAHA how does the rest of the franchise compare to these first two? The final movie is in the works I believe, right? I’ve gotta say I’m tempted to keep going!
Maddison Wolfe, who played 11 year old Janet, did such an amazing job with this, and she's not even British! She's from America, from Louisiana! her accent was so good, she fooled all the critics.
YES finally!! Not that it took a long time but I'm just excited 😂 I need to catch up on your channel I missed like the last 2 weeks of uploads 😮💨 but so glad this popped up on my feed. After I'm done with this I have to go watch the rest of your uploads lol Btw, me and a lot of my friends have agreements to NEVER bring a Quija board into anyone's house or even own one. None of us ever want one in our homes. It's bad energy
I love this movie. But you are not wrong. It starts pretty scary but then kinda goes a bit over the top with the attacks. Either way, great reaction. Remember though, Serenity now, insanity later lol.
I have to agree with Catherine. I’ve seen this multiple times, and it’s a good movie, and a decent sequel. I used to think this one was pretty effective Horror. There are definitely some good scares, and some good performances. Having said that, after multiple watches, where it loses me, is the overdone special effects. Like for instance, the ceiling cracking, some of the premonition moments, but most of all; The Crooked Man in general and the special effects they used for those scenes. It’s like one minute you’re watching a legit Horror film, and the next, you’re suddenly dragged into a Tim Burton film. The cramming of too many characters and story lines does more harm than good. It’s Spider-Man 3 all over again. They did it a bit in the first Conjuring film too, but luckily it was strong enough to survive it. This movie could have been a 7.4, but as Catherine pointed out, the fantastical aspects of it take you out of the darker elements that kept the film organic and rooted in pure Horror, making it more like a 6.8.
I totally see what you're saying about this one, possibly laying it on a little thick. It felt like it was simply trying to outdo the first. A good movie series I can suggest is 28 days later and 28 weeks later. Given the fact that the 28 years later trailer has just dropped, there's a bit of fresh buzz around the movies. Put it this way, it was the movie that made zombies cool again while doing away with all the tropes
Not really sure it tried to out do the first, this isnt really a sequel, its just another true story with Edd and Lorraine, the Enfield poltergeist is a well know British haunting with police statements to back it up 👍
This movie is where they get into some of the warrens more unprovable claims and, while it makes for an enjoyable horror movie, I lose all believability pretty quickly with these ones. The case this story is based on is 100% a hoax and not even one that’s somewhat debatable
I had the same problem when I saw this movie. The 2nd half lost me. I want from scared to "hell nawl, now that some bullshit" Exorcism of Emily Rose would be a great watch!
Phew I’m glad it wasn’t just me, I was a bit nervous I was gonna get roasted for not liking the second half but unfortunately I just couldn’t take it seriously
Oh yeah, my third favourite Christmas movie, after Die Hard, and Love Actually. As much as i love the first Conjuring film, i love this so much more. For me it has better jump scares, not too many horrors give me a decent jump scare, so i love it for that, i think the cast are brilliant, and i love both the crooked man, and the nun.
Best notb watch any movies with fictional and watch factual because you have no imagination all horror sifi films are fictional not real so keep watching reality tv movies
You should contact 'Sam and Colby' and experience a real haunting. Michelle Khare: 'Host of Challenge Accepted' went to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum with them. She was a major skeptic. But she had a few unexplainable events caught on camera. Overall it was a great program to watch. Sam and Colby have other RUclipsrs on their program as guests.
So happy to see you reacting to this movie! VALAK is my favorite horror demon. You can see the origins in the movie NUN and NUN 2 :))
Yay, this is my favorite from the Conjuring Universe.
Sequels are usually tough but I thought this one did a good job, fun reaction as always!

Next, please react to "The Nun"...

The nun
The nun 2
Annabelle Creation
Annabelle
The conjuring
Annabelle comes home
The conjuring 2
The conjuring 3: the devil made me do it.
🤘🤘
Wooooah, dang I had no idea the Nun movies were a part of the Conjuring franchise!
@ now you know 😁🤘🤘
Hell yeah!! Merry Christmas in advance 😊
Ahaha it was quite the surprise to see that this one was actually fitting to watch for the holidays 😂

A rare bird: a horror sequel that's actually good.
Among the large-and-growing Conjuring universe, Annabelle: Creation is also decent.
Contractual obligation fulfilled, no rush on watching the 3rd one. 😁 Merry Christmas!

Unlike the one playing her mother lol
@@McKamikazeHighlanderYou think 'O'Connor should have had more Heineken to prepare for the role?
For real!! I googled the cast after watching and was stunned to see that she’s American! 😦
This is loosely based on the "Enfield Poltergeist", a "real" case in London in the 70s.

Ahaha you can indeed call me Cat 😂 I’m excited to keep watching this franchise!
I love this movie. But you are not wrong. It starts pretty scary but then kinda goes a bit over the top with the attacks. Either way, great reaction. Remember though, Serenity now, insanity later lol.
I watched Nosferatu on Monday and it was awesome! can't wait to hear your thoughts and/or react to it.

I have to agree with Catherine.

Conjuring 3 reaction.is next for you lol.
They're making a Conjuring 4 which will be the last one in this series.
Hollywood always has to make the story more cinematic

Ahaha I didn’t think I’d be watching another Conjuring this soon but here we are 😂
Wow, all this time watching your content and I just realized I wasn’t subscribed to you.
Dallas Buyers Club
I shamefully have never seen that one!!
My favorite horror/ thriller movie is Sinister! You need to watch that movie next. Great movie
My dad actually just requested Sinister recently so that might be next up on my Scaredy Cat list! 😂
When you watch movies with subtitles it's spoils jumpscares.
The Amityville Horror
The others is one film you should watch.
Watch insidious with the lights out
I DONE GHOST HUNTING I PROVOKED BUT NOTHING
This movie is where they get into some of the warrens more unprovable claims and, while it makes for an enjoyable horror movie, I lose all believability pretty quickly with these ones. The case this story is based on is 100% a hoax and not even one that’s somewhat debatable
Ahhh good ol' Marilyn Manson... I mean The Nun.
The Conjuring 3
I had the same problem when I saw this movie. The 2nd half lost me. I want from scared to "hell nawl, now that some bullshit"
Exorcism of Emily Rose would be a great watch!

I want to see you do a Paranormal Investigation in the distant future. Just to the faces you'd make if shit were to pop off
Ahahaha oh god I would actually die 😂😂 I don’t think I’d survive a real life ghost experience ahaha
MY HOUSE!!!😁
Wait really 😦👀
@@CatherineLaSalle Nah, just mimicking the ghost of Bill Wilkins😂👻

CHICKEN, bock bock bock CH CH CHICKEN 🐔. YOU CAN'T EVEN LISTEN TO THE ACTUAL TAPE AT THE END OF THE MOVIE. .

In my favourite movie ranking this is currently 15th.
I do think the jump scares in this one were FAR worse 😭 that initial old man scream got me soooo bad I almost quit right there
Hi Catherine hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Demons and spirits aren't real so the film is fictional not factual so if want ghost stories watch TV shows ghosts stories
You didn’t do your research and it shows.
Best notb watch any movies with fictional and watch factual because you have no imagination all horror sifi films are fictional not real so keep watching reality tv movies
Cry more. The top movies making billions are fictional. Fictional movies just do it better factually now.
