those spells being broken or not really depends on the luck of the draw; not only hinging on whether you get a spell on your command list that benefits you for a specific situation, but also on whether you're able to read your list and make a decision in the heat of a match... all taking into account that your opponent can easily see when you pull out the menu, and just get out of the way
All reflectors have health of some sort. If you hold down fox or wolf reflector, if enough damage is built up on the reflector, it eventually breaks. But Bounce has to have a time limit of some sort on top of the health. That's too big of an oversight for the smash team to make. I doubt it's stays out until it dies.
All reflectors have a point where they break/fail if the incoming projectile does too much damage. For example, Ness can’t bat away a projectile that would deal 80+, and Fox can’t shine something with 50+ damage.

Except his rng is mostly all good. It's one thing if he has the chance to get bad spells, but he gets 4 random spells from a pool of like 10 spells (most of them are good btw). Yeah its rng, but it's heavily in his favor. Let's also not forget the random crits on his smash attacks. Is he going to be broken, who knows; we haven't seen the rest of his move set yet. But the things they've shown so far makes him look really really good.
Philip Blaskowski His frame data is meh to bad from what we’ve seen, his mobility is trash especially for a sword, and overall has meh normals. His specials while very good are EXTREMELY inconsistent with a less than a 24% chance of any specific special coming out when you want which isn’t good considering the amount of time pulling up menu and navigating it takes. I can’t ever see him as a top 5 character let alone best in the game with those issues even if he does have quite polarizing strengths

This means that he will almost never get a set of spells that's bad. Half his spells give him amazing utility and most of the other half offer good damage and range options. Let alone you can get in and out of his down b stance pretty quickly from the look of things. So cycling between these sets don't look too slow either. While his normals don't look amazing he also has sword, which leads me to believe they're not that bad

hocus pocus can give you good stuff like giant mushroom, invincibility star, invisibility, bad stuff like poison, sleep, and slow, or use any of hero's other specials. hocus pokus is super rare in the list so you can't just spam it.
I wanna know if other people feel the same. But IMO, Magic Burst sounds broken to me. Imagine getting it when the opponent is recovering. The blast completely covers the ledge and all getup options. So wouldn't it almost be a guaranteed KO if the opponent has enough damage? I'd like to hear other peoples thoughts. Also, Metal Slash did, like, 1%. One thing I don't see anyone talking about is Magic burst, it could have ridiculous ledge trapping. Just imagine if the hero could use the Magic Burst with a decent amount of mana at ledge.

An application I can think of for Magic Burst (the one that takes all your MP) is easy edge guarding and a get-off-me tool because, look at that hitbox! It took up almost the entire stage!

I think Hero will need to be nerfed a bit, probably the best way to do so is to increase the mp cost of all the attacks except kamikaze and slow the MP charge rate (1 mp per 1.5 seconds or 90 ticks and 1 mp per 1.5% of damage, with a 1.1x mp increase)

He's not bad, I'll admit... but that command window gives away what he's going to do. Most of them are avoidable, and I can obviously see what command you select and react accordingly. Although he has random crits on smash attacks, he's not going to land those smash attacks that often, especially against a skilled player (who doesn't play him at all). I would agree though in the future he could become an obnoxious (king of) zoners. Playing against him wouldn't feel fun if that were the case.

He's not bad, I'll admit... but that command window gives away what he's going to do. Most of them are avoidable, and I can obviously see what command you select and react accordingly. Although he has random crits on smash attacks, he's not going to land those smash attacks that often, especially against a skilled player (who doesn't play him at all). I would agree though in the future he could become an obnoxious (king of) zoners. Playing against him wouldn't feel fun if that were the case.
