Looks like a masterpiece. Can't wait to try it. As for the beefsteak tomatoes, I grow my own. I remember the first time I grew them, they were pretty flavorless -- almost as bad as store-bought tomatoes. I remember my father-in-law giving me a quizzical look because he swore by his. I've since tried them a few more times with varyingly better results. Last year, they were excellent. Being heirlooms, they should always be roughly the same, so I think it's a supplier problem. If the seed came from plants that somehow got cross-pollinated with another variety, that could definitely cause a problem. Emboldened by last year's success, I'm giving them another shot this year. (I really like their size for use in sandwiches.)
Looks fantastic. More air fryer recipes please! When I saw the cucumber in the yogurt I couldn't help thinking that Tatziki would also go with this. Cheers and keep em coming!
Bro, your content/recipes are always a pleasure to watch and replicate but you just raised the BAR right there. I have tried so many non-tandoor recipes (oven/Grill/BBQ) and all have been average in looks and taste. That looks the part and i am sure it will taste the part. I will let you know mate. 🙂
Cheers Les. A bit of history - 40 years ago I worked in a couple of takeaways and restaurants - started part time then onwards. Come back to the future -ish - I started a business here in Thailand with my wife called Curry Nights - we produced Indian frozen ready meals and supplied EVERY major supermarket in Thailand and Laos. Big C, Tops, Central, Villa Market, Rimping, Friendship, Foodland etc I personally made thousands of curries and naaan breads a week. We sold the business a few years back and the new owner has decided just last year to stop manufacturing due to costs and lack of customers not living here in Thailand after the 2 years of world lockdown. Ive made a few curries along the way. Best, Rik
Get them down ya and enjoy. I have had Tandoori chicken baked in a tandoor in India quite some years back. There really is nothing like it. Until you experience it, you really don’t know. Thanks ever so much for this video, I am starving, yet again.
That looks amazing Rik👌🏻 It’s almost exactly the same recipe as I do mine but I add a splash of mustard oil and a tiny bit of Mr Naga chilli pickle🔥 Thank you for sharing and have great Easter
yeah many folks use the old engine oil - mustard oil.. not for me I never even saw it in the takeaways and restaurants I worked in - its a taste that some folks like but not for me. Best, Rik
I haven't cooked Indian for ages. Looking at this, I'm going to check to see if my spices are still OK (Thai humidity) and get cracking. Your recipe looks delicious.👍👍
Nice recipe, I will try this. I make garlic and ginger paste for when I cook curry, I make it in bulk and freeze it in ice cube trays, but I use two thirds garlic to one third ginger because ginger is a stronger taste than garlic.
