An aerial platform training experience, Rotor Recoil provides an opportunity for sportsmen to learn the dynamics of shooting from a helicopter. The Rotor Recoil course includes over 90 custom made targets including our new vehicle mounted targets on over 11,000 acres on the privately owned Mendota Ranch in Canadian, Texas. With changing terrain and variable conditions, our 90 target course provides consistent target opportunities and a fast paced course. Designed to be challenging for marksman of any skill level, the Rotor Recoil course creates exciting and unique training to improve accuracy across all platforms, and serves as excellent training for predator control and feral hog population management.

That's the kind of thing I wanted to do every day as a kid. Just ride. We weren't allowed out with the horses without an adult and all'a them worked in town so we rarely got to ride with permission. I used to jump on bareback before feeding after school but never got to ride as much as I wanted. Still have that old girl too. She's 35. Quite a bit older than the youngins you like. She's just a pasture baby I won in a name the horse contest when I was like 5. She's too arthritic for work now but I never wanted to let her go because I always hoped someday I might find a job doing what I wanted. I love videos like these. Keep'em coming.

There's a Mendota in California, and a Delta-Mendota canal which supplies water to the San Joaquin Valley farmers and ranchers. I grew up in the area; but now stuck in the deep politically blue Washington State after retiring from the Southern Pacific Railroad. (Promised the wife I'd retire in her home state.) We use them to work horses. We like watching them. After a few years, we will feed one out for the freezer.

Buffalo get frenzied sometimes who knows why and will go after the weirdest stuff and it's scary and dangerous. Had a bull jump 6' corral go after a female Buffalo and calf smashed it into a wall over & over we had to shoot it. All in a split second.
