    What is the strength like of cutback then layered emax veneers on the upper front teeth? Are they sustainably strong enough to last as a long term option? Thank you.

      The MPa of layered ceramic is between 80-120 MPa. That's valid for PFM, layered on the Zic framework. With facial layering and keeping the functional area (lingual, incisal) in Full Zirconia you will get the best of both worlds. Strength where you need it and beauty where you see it.

    These are the kinds of videos I have been scouring RUclips trying to find. I hand been in dentistry for 18 years as an expanded funding dental assistant, so I placed all of the composite restorations as well as scanning, designing, milling, glazing/staining, and then finishing all in office crowns. I had always had an interest in becoming a crown technician, but waited a long time before I finally did. I have done really great so far and gotten lots of compliments, but I want to learn more about porcelain layering or stacking. Do you offer any one on one training?

      @@masterdentaltechnician1914 Looking forward to it!! It doesn’t have to be extremely detailed, I am already layering so I understand the most basic concepts, but my goal is to gain knowledge and experience to be proficient in layering, specifically with more aesthetic cases and more complex/larger cases such as bridges! Your work is very impressive, I would also be interested in one on one training if you’d be interested in doing that!! If you’d charge for that that’s find as well, just let me know!! Thank you again and God bless!!

    Helo ! It is very valuable and informative your video, thanks for sharing ! If you allow me, I would l like to know your answer to the question if is allowed to further microlayer ceramic at higher bake temps , on top of Myio liquid ceramic staining ? I would like to use Myio for internal staining , and for external staining , after some microlayer bakes.

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  2 года назад

      Hi Ion, yes that will work. It depends on which porcelain you are using to Microlayer. I recommend E.max cream because you fire it at 750C which is close enough to Miyo. It looks very nice. An alternative to making your life easier is to take a full-contour crown, use Miyo in the first back and Miyo structure in the second bake. It looks as nice if not even similar to Micro layering.

    Which build up mixing liquid are you using with the eMax ceram?

    • @masterdentaltechnician1914
      @masterdentaltechnician1914  3 года назад +2

      I am using the Allround liquid. For more stability, you can mix a little stain and glaze liquid in it. For mamelons use pure stain and glaze liquid.
