From the few excerpts on You Tube It is hard to comprehend how that movie was a flop just based on her performance & the dance sequences alone. It is even harder to understand why Julie was not nominated for an Oscar. I was too young at that time so don't 'get it'. What a showcase for her talents. Must see the movie.
@@sophiebasil3578 the movie is great. Truly. You can clearly see her huge effort in those dance and music numbers, but, sadly, they weren't recognised by the public. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to see the movie some time ago because I wasn't born at the time, so it is like a great opportunity for us to have platforms such as RUclips to share epic things like this🤗
Shut uuuup!! This is one of my favorite performances of Dame Julie Andrews. All the other wroks in this movie were great, though.
