I learned so much from this video. It's easy to make a video after you have been doing for so long, but much different when you bring someone that hasn't done it all. Her portrait came out great looking.
Fantastic work. I truly loved this concept of coaching a beginner. I feel like I learned a lot by you teaching her. Keep up the great work and amazing videos
Thanks dude. I’m glad it gave you some information. That was the plan, to see what a complete newb would do and use that to help give the corrections to all the other newbs out there.
Man, it was Scott and Jon's podcast that lead me to your Channel and now your mentioning them. The circle is complete. Trapped under Plastic needs to have you on to discuss the hobby and to showcase all the kickass builds! Great Job by your wife, and that was one of the best explanations on how to use a dual action air brush! Great video, thank you.
No way!!! How’d that even work? 😂 by the way she did bloody fantastic for real. As for those two silly bois over on terped onder plerstik they for sure have no idea I exist haha dunno if I would be “worthy” of breaking goodie peepee ranks
Thanks for this video!!!!! Your wife did an amazing job!!! You did a amazing job teaching. I hope to be able to paint as well as she does..... one day.
Absolutely fantastic! It’s great to get a beginners perspective on painting models and wonderful teaching on your part too. This video has some great tips, I certainly took some notes 😄
Honestly? I wouldn't mind more videos like this one as your wife progresses! She made it look effortless and your inputs were invaluable for a beginner like me!
Way to go Mrs. Groundeffected!!! That was a great job.. that was a bit better tutorial on doing eyes, than the "how to paint eyes" video lol. He's gotten to be a better teacher already.
Going to show this to my teen daughters when I get off work. They just finished priming anime models from nomnom. Hope this helps, as I am a terrible teacher. When you gonna do a video on how to use cut up a 3d model to fit on the smaller build plates of my mars 2 printer?😅
Although I have understood your technique for painting I think the way you taught your wife by drawing on the paper was much clearer to follow. I think if I get anywhere close to her finished piece I would be happy. Did she enjoy the lesson? Is she likely to continue? Don't take this the wrong way but.... she is much easier on the eye than you😉
Ive been painting now over a year and get basic faces Mrs. Effected paints her first face and blows all of my work out of the water ...(there are tears as i look in to taking up puzzle building)
I'm so late to the party! You're a good teacher, Sean would get aggro with me! Lol carful Mr. G watch that tone lol 😂 she clap jou gat lol. Its always a bit weird doing something new for the first time. My guys eyes would be hella squint 😅. You did good wifey!

She really did so well I was really impressed

Thanks a lot dude. She’s probably more patient than me I was close to just taking over hahaha
Thank you both for your time and instilling others to press on with learning and practicing. : )
Great work Mrs GE.👍
Awesome job and video! Learned a lot by watching, any chance you could do another video in more detail on the technique you used to paint the face?
Thanks dude. Look through my playlists there’s plenty videos on how I do faces.
Very nice! Great work, Mrs. YourDad! Very good video!
That was actually pretty good im even more excited to get started
Amazing work love the way you did this as a person never fired an airbrush yet i love the way you have detailed every step
Thanks dude. I’m glad you liked it!!
She’s a natural. Great video 👍
Or lucky? 😂
Agreed. Knocked it out the park
Man, all the way to the next park hahaha
She did a great job. Now I feel worse about my own painting skills… 😭😭
No don’t. Just try to soak up all the good information out here!!
I think she did well as a beginner. Practice improves every process.
She did great. She’s not only a beginner but she’s never painted a model in her life haha
Honestly? I wouldn't mind more videos like this one as your wife progresses! She made it look effortless and your inputs were invaluable for a beginner like me!
She’s not really interested in painting much to be honest. I had to convince her to do this video lol
Awesome I'm impressed!
Me too not too bad.
Your wife has done a fantastic job well done to her
Yea I won’t lie I was quietly impressed.
Man she did an amazing job
Yea I think so too!!
Way to go Mrs. Groundeffected!!! That was a great job.. that was a bit better tutorial on doing eyes, than the "how to paint eyes" video lol. He's gotten to be a better teacher already.
And I thought I cut out loads of the eyes stuff. Cos I had to the video was just getting to be too long otherwise.
That is very inspiring. Thanks
I have recently recruited my wife to give me a hand with my 3d models and she is doing amazing work!
That’s the spirit. Maybe I will start rewarding her with chocolates or something and just get her to do my base coats for me 😂
Great idea for a video, and she did a great job!
Thanks dude. I am glad it came out ok otherwise we’d have no video lol
Pretty good for a first timer! The private tutor must be pretty handy 😊
Yea definitely not bad at all!! I’ll leave the bill for her lessons under her pillow
You cant even beat eggs! Hahaha! Hell of a job for the first time! I guess there are perks to sleeping with the teacher 🤣🤣🤣🤣!
Lol. We are like that, keeps us on our toes.

When you gonna do a video on how to use cut up a 3d model to fit on the smaller build plates of my mars 2 printer?😅
Haha. Hope it does help. Um I will add it to the list of video ideas. I have a slightly larger machine so it hasn’t been a big problem for me
Thanks!
Thank you!
Haha this was class, great job Carrie
Not bad for impromptu video after a failed week of content making!! You next bruh!
I'm a noob at this, I was like all the opposite, I was afraid to spray too much, and sit there like 5 minutes trying to paint a section.
As long as paint is going on the model you’re winning in my book haha
Done great, I need to try now lol
Heck yes!! More guidance on other videos on the channel too if you need it just have a look
I love the joke in the beginning about the airbrush!
Lol thanks my dude.
@@Groundeffected I've watched several of your videos and you've opened my mind up to how I can step up my figure and statue painting. Thank you!
Although I have understood your technique for painting I think the way you taught your wife by drawing on the paper was much clearer to follow.

Did she enjoy the lesson?
Is she likely to continue?
Don't take this the wrong way but....

Excellent vid bud, and she did amazingly well...you better watch out hahaha
She really did haha
Ive been painting now over a year and get basic faces Mrs. Effected paints her first face and blows all of my work out of the water ...(there are tears as i look in to taking up puzzle building)
As a wise traveler once said. There will be tears. There always is tears
You taught your wife how to airbrush and I can’t even teach my wife to do the dishes 😅
You've got competition Bro.
Hahaha she’s not bad for a complete newb
Do u use resin or pla for ur prints?
Both. Most the characters are resin and the bases mostly are pla
She did a fab job. :)
I see what you did there, getting your wife to paint Toby so you don't have to. Sneaky sneaky 😏
See, work smart not hard!!
She did good
I’ll take second haha good video
Heck yea. No one even claimed first this time. I guess you can have it!?!?
@@Groundeffected I’ll take it!! Hahah
Me puedes decir que colores utilizaste para el rostro? Muy buen video ,seria muy bueno que pusieras subtitulos en español :c
Now your wife is also my Dad 😂😅
I like toast
Very nice I like.
super video.but your going to need new brushes if your miss.s carry's on painting with your brushes lol
good job
A small part of me died a lil when she “dabbed” the brush lol
Who’s Brent? I thought your name was My Dad
Just started teaching my daughter to paint. She's better than me and she's 13. 😍
Hahaha that good though when she’s really good you got someone to do your statues then
