As if our lives aren’t crazy enough, here’s a new big surprise for ya! We got a new puppy!!!
Asa and I adopted jack jack about 8 months ago and didn’t plan on getting another dog for some time. However, Jack jack was the best puppy ever, so when we heard that his mom and dad had a new litter, we couldn’t resist!
Meet willow, jack jack’s full sister! As you may know, puppies are a LOT of work. They need to be fed, watched, potty trained, obedience trained and so many other things. We decided to make a new vlog for y’all about our adventures with sweet willow girl! She definitely has a big personality lol!

She is so cute! My husband and I got a golden retriever right after we got married! Best decision ever!!!
so cute!! I would recommend a kennel for when y'all aren't home! just make sure to take collars off while their in the kennel so they don't get stuck and suffocate! now is also a great time for her to learn a kennel can be a safe comfort place too, which is great for travel!
Or even a crate, crate training! Highly recommend :)
Yes! Crate training is so important. It makes them feel safe and keeps them out of trouble.
I think they know about the crate training because Brooklyn mentioned how she was crate training Finn when he was a puppy in an older video of their’s.

just a tip: when giving dogs baths, fill the bath up first. The running water scares them even more.
I think it depends on the dog, my dogs get scared to death of the water in the tub already, they enjoy playing with the running water🤣

We adopted two husky brothers about a year ago. It has been one of the coolest and most hectic journeys ever. Wishing you both luck.
Willows is such a cutie! However I cant stress this enough please please please do not take a pet into non pet friendly stores its actually illegal and is very harmful to service dogs and handlers like myself and others who depend on our dogs to live and be independent as disabled people. Good luck with that beautiful little pup!

@@courtneymeurett5485 no it actually is. Service dogs are medical equipment and it’s illegal to bring another non service dog around them and distract them
@@Isa-98 I guess depends where you live! In Texas it’s not a big deal at all.. especially they took a 10 week old pup to the store too & was in her purse..nothing wrong with that & im sure they went to heb and heb is very pet friendly 😊

Please remember that adoption is always the best option especially when the shelters are full puppies may be cute but you could help a dog in need by adopting from your local shelter. Also if outside in a public area dogs should be leashed unless in a fenced in area where dogs are allowed to be off leash.
Another idea for the bell training (something my family used for our dog). if you take just bells on their own and attach them to some ribbon and then stick it on to you wall next to the door at the height of the dog they can just ring it!

1:40 them playing reminds me of my dogs so much where Jack Jack was just running around being excited and Willow was growling and chasing him. Also, for when your not home, if you don’t want to put her in a kennel, baby gates work like a charm.
You should try to crate train her. It works for my dog and he just sleeps while we’re are gone. And then eventually you can start letting her not be crated as much. I hope this helps if you try it! Love you guys! 💜
