      Hi!
      You mentionned being keen on learning more about WW2 and jews being turned into scapegoats.
      The first chapters from ''the origin of totalitarianism'' by Hannah Arendt (available on Audible) cover this point with great nuance and provide detailed historical insights. Great book to link your self help perspective on the subject with historical, sociological and economical insights.

    Connecting deeply to the present moment and raising your level of consciousness will eventually allow you to see things as they are beyond the social constructs and labels that we put on things. This state of consciousness will inherently make you more loving and see the love in everything, even the "evil" parts of life. Evil is essentially just coming from unconsciousness. Bring light to the darkness, and the light will always win. Great video Tyler. 🙏

    22:44 is incredibly powerful and can really transform your life if you recognize and apply it: what's attacking or dragging you down is not the person but the energy driving this person and this exact energy is in you also.
    The goal is not to 'win' a fight or argument (because engaging the energy feeds it, which is what this energy wants) but not to feed this kind of energy in whatever way you can manage to avoid doing this. Either by removing yourself from the situation or getting really present or trying to respond with positivity in return. Or in some other way.
    Seriously, applying this knowledge has transformed my life in ways I couldn't even fathom before.

      @@fuzkforyou here's my understanding. You gotta realise that you've been conditioned on not loving yourself so you buy shit aka consumer culture. From there understand all of you dw all of your own love. Validate all of you. Then Cultivate a relationship with the present moment. Your relationship with the present moment is your life. You can't be happy and have a bad relationship with the present moment. Cultivate that. Say yes to what is. If you're asking what is the present moment it's basically anything that'll happen in the next 5 seconds. After that release trauma. This worked really well for me hope it helps you too!

  • @JeremyNoelJohnson
    @JeremyNoelJohnson 5 лет назад +5

    The reticular activation system flip is a really good analogy. Relationships are affected by this and I've felt it happen to me. When you are first dating someone or when the relationship is new, it's easy to focus on the good. But any event or action by a person can trigger that R.A.S. flip. Knowing this is useful - when I'm going out with someone after a period of time and they start showing "flaws" or "imperfections", I can hold space for that and tell them it's ok and they are loved still. I know I appreciate when others do this for me when my "flaws" and "imperfections" take the center stage.

I struggled for a long time with senseless pessimism and believing that the world was evil. Ever since I came across your videos around five years back, something in me knew I had to learn from RSD. I always had good intentions and still do even though of course I made mistakes since then, and of course some really bad, but RSD taught me to learn from them and do better for others, I never wanted to "manipulate" anyone, just wanted to not be shy , to stop being bullied and to understand why we do what we do... Even to this day after being through some more hard times and seeing others do harm , I still believe there are other ways to teach kids not to be mean, to breakup without having hatred, stuff like this. At the end of the day, it's like sometimes we NEED something like a crisis to shake us and wake us up, to help us realise "wow, these problems I have with others and things are just silly"

    It's so nice to see Tyler engage in this conversation, the recent narrative that western civilization is a tyrannical patriarchy shames a lot of man from the pursuit of success, dramatically increasing anxiety, depression and the unability to find a partner. Teach people to see the good in the world is the only way we can drive our civilization out of this existencial pit.

    Funny how the universe works, last week I had a first hand experience of hell. This happened during an acid trip. I was making the wrong decisions, seeking personal pleasure and comfort over the greater good which lead me to a pretty low place in my life. The trip showed the depths of the unimaginable evil and malevolence that are rooted behind seemingly innocuous decisions like turning a blind eye and not standing up for what's right. I've decided to strive everyday to be a force for good and I'm starting a journey to a better future. I hope to do this on this chanel.

      Another easy way to think about it, from this video and another one of his best videos on meditation is to be aware of what exactly in your mind is sitting in the driver's seat; the black serpent (toxic/negativity) or the white serpent (proactivity/initiative/living in the moment/planning for the future) Essentially, this is the Yin and Yang of the mind. Great great video. You and Luke really hit the nail on the head in this one. Not referencing George W Bush’s or his father’s political record or policy ideas with this, but I really resonated with this quote that George W Bush said at his father’s eulogy, “he was no cynic. He looked for the good in people, and he usually found it.” That is at the core of a positive, encouraging life. I want personal success with making money, and to travel and date great people as do you guys but it’s important to leave behind and ooze out an encouraging, loving, positive energy.

  • @ReddOrigins
    @ReddOrigins 5 лет назад +2

    I never thought of it that way. Dumping trauma energy unto someone else in order to release evil from the body. That's really deep man. That's kind of tragic in a way and very sad. It's probably why some people are addicted to aggression and drama and they don't know they're stuck. It's like you said there RAS is too focused on what they see and it makes it hard to see anything outside of that focus, and not being able to feel empathy or see the big picture. A downward spiral of madness. I find myself slowly forgiving people even though it's hard because my hearts been broken so many times.

    The greatest trend in the world today, although you'll never hear about it from mainstream sources, is the reunification of Jews and Christians, what some call the "Jewish Roots" movement of Christianity. I know that you know something about this because you teach in Israel and have no doubt coached many wealthy, high-level Jewish men. Your video itself is reflective of this movement as you combine the setting of the Holocaust Memorial and some of the final words of Jesus ("Forgive them..."). It comes off to me as if these people need an outlet for their stuck consciousness. They just have to suck, because they cannot and don‘t want to see things objectivly like cause and effect or money making skills. Insteat they are in cognitive dissonance the bump has money. Lol

    Can we trust each other? Lies upon lies were told in the past. Only the truth will set us free. Happiness comes from within. Good energy leads to growth and freedom. Be wise and create your future with positive words and actions. We can do this

    If I’ve ruined all of my friendships due my own own pain and putting it on others, can I build them back up by letting or have I wrecked that connection with all of my childhood friends ?

    Cool vid bro. I remember a good one from Jeffy when he was going on about how he came from a nihilistic background and how he now deals with it by replacing nihilism with absurdism (from this Danish philosopher I can't remember what his name was) but I think this video deals with the underlying Freudian superegos and traumas being separate from the bodies that our reticular activation systems are too readily sensitive to.
    I notice this a heck of a lot in individual sports. e.g. where one person just walls off their emotions and the other constantly celebrates or vents their anger and frustrations, to the point it's like a battle of frames with introvert vs extrovert - and it's up to the introvert to work extra hard, and remember to use a VARIETY of strategies or they'll risk imploding (which is worse than the predictable exploding the extrovert keeps jockeying about with). The key for the introvert is mentioned in this video... i.e. it's not the person you need to bother judging, but the energy they give off that they can't keep in.

    If you can keep your head when all about you
    Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
    If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
    If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
    Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
    Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
    And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
    If you can dream-and not make dreams your master;
    If you can think-and not make thoughts your aim;
    If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
    If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
    Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
    Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
    And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
    If you can make one heap of all your winnings
    And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
    And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breathe a word about your loss;
    If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
    To serve your turn long after they are gone,
    And so hold on when there is nothing in you
    Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
    If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
    Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch,
    If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
    If all men count with you, but none too much;
    If you can fill the unforgiving minute
    With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
    Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
    And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!
    - Rudyard Kipling

    I believe negativity comes from a situation of memory, the item who has remembered the most recent gets the negativity challenge and presents it, the item who passes the challenge exchanges this negativity as a question of positivity, the item who can't relate to the memory or work out an answer for the memory is left with negativity, everyone works from memory and the memory is trigged through the earlier thoughts and the earlier thoughts becomes the present challenges. A Fight or Harm is also Question of memory, to test the items capability's. the best way to beat negativity is simply be ignorant to others memories, as other memories are their own responsibility's.
    How well does the words, I don't know work?

    I see people as cells and evil as like a cell that's like totally self interested and has transformed its energy into something that is completely dark and all consuming; an energy that is very Sith like from Star Wars. It doesn't undergo any mitosis, instead it sucks in and absorbs the cells around it. Love on the other hand is like a cell that is transparent, you can see right through it, and it's instead constantly transmuting energy into being more healing and cooperative; an energy that is on the contrary very Frodo like from Lord of the Rings but even more pure, just imagine the purest energy you can imagine that is also very heroic. It undergoes mitosis but in that mitosis all the cells are still connected to one another.
