  • Lucio is a strong character in Overwatch - I take some time to show basic wall ride fundamentals, as well as show some good spots where you can contest the point & heal teammates effectively while being difficult to kill. Enjoy.

      This is great! BUT.. i don't know how to vertical wallride. I can do it horizontally, but don't know the keystroke order to press on the keyb/mouse to do that? It seems when I jump, I just land again to the ground. Especially the Nepal one, omg!

    Some of these seem a bit more effective then others but I've never seen half these. Definitely using some in Master gameplay

    they need to make wallriding on console a bit easier tbh.. you cant spin as fast with a joystick as with a mouse

    Two tips for the ones who are going to try this:
    1. you can wallride without looking to the wall, just try sometimes looking to the wall, and them go without looking (don't forget to unlock the wallride backwards in the menus). This will help you to stay safe and shot enemyes
    2. Most of those places you will be kept in the open to anyone who want shoot you. Those spots work best versus Lúcio counters, Like Winston, Tracer, Genji, A reinhardt who was close to you in the point etc. I sujest you to use those as scape methods to enemyes who went close to kill you. BUT, if there is an enemy Sniper or Hit Scan far from you, congrats you became the most focused target (Master and above you will probably die in seconds). In low ranks this can be usefull some times, to help teammates on ground to don't get shot for sometime.
    3. (extra), change between Speed and Heal while wallriding, this change Lúcio's speed and make hard to shot you on the walls while you're in the open

    I really think a new stat for Lucio should be time spent wall riding since more players are starting to get good at it. It really separates the good Lucios from the great Lucios.

    There should be a little disclaimer that its really only possible with an elite controller. Paddles that free up thumbs are a god send.

    • @infinitycaliber1761
      @infinitycaliber1761 8 лет назад

      Try to get used to bumper jumper if you cant get an elite controller. It seems weird at first, but eventually it will be better than default controls.

      Only if you're close to the top of the well, which can be dangerous. But true!

    Could you do a tutorial about the basics? I have been trying for days and I cant scalate properly, I always just jump too much and cant get attached to the next wall.

    you can totally jump on the same surface again. just make sure you come in at the right angle. its hard to do tho and most likely not even worth it

    This is no longer true. You can not infinitely wallride a wall. Wall riding ends after a while, but if it is curved you can keep jumping and start a new wallride to ride the same surface forever. Great video though.

    • @nikitafeoktistov8029
      @nikitafeoktistov8029 7 лет назад

      JubbyVlogs it still doesn't work. It need to be a wall going a different direction, or you must be on the other side. If you wallride the left side of a wall, you can not wallride the left side of a wall facing the same way. You must switch to the right.

    You need to change your controls. I play on console too, and my wallriding is much better than yours just because of my control layout.
