My first experience with Amatsu

Definitely one of the coolest hunts I've ever taken part of. Might even push me to go and beat MH3U at some point!

Fun Fact: Amatsu is the reason Zinogre was first discovered. When Amatsu traveled to the Misty Peaks, it startled the population of Zinogres, wich forced them to flee from their home, and this is why Apex Zinogre shows up.
Amatsu also has a rivarly with Valstrax. During a ride in Universal Studios you fight a Valstrax on a flying boat, but before the fight ends the Valstrax gets distracted by an Amatsu that was nearby, so it ignores you and then flies directly at the storm. In Sunbreak, Valstrax will show up in the Amatsu fight if you don't have Utsushi with you, but sadly there is no turf war.

Seeing the Gore Magala dual blades and being German means I know what the name means, but I still cannot help but think "ass clown" when I read the name.

I loved this fight. I beat it first try, but just barely. Less than 10 minutes left and only 1 cart remaining.

Loved this fight, fought it first back in Generations and was pleasantly surprised by the way they improved his fight. It did kinda suck to do with randoms since they didn't seem to be able to dodge the "floor is now electrified" attack. All around a fun fight though. You can get some pretty slick staggers and stuns if you hard target the head with S&S.

i had no idea amatsu was in generations. if i grind him for armor (which i probably will because heaven-sent seems amazing), i'll be sure to lock onto that head. thanks!
