Sadly, I can't get enthusiastic about Starfield, at all. I'm not handing over $60 plus for something I can't muster interest in even though I've loved and played these games for decades now. It's depressing, I played Fallout 76 and 4 and just became too bored to obsessively complete everything every which way possible. Even if it's free I couldn't say I would give it more than a tryout. Zelda Breath of the Wild and now Tears of the Kingdom have ruined Bethesdas chances of wowing me now. I wake up earlier to get an extra hour in on TOTK before work, I haven't done that since Skyrim. The economy is in the tank, Bethesda pissed away a lot of good will and I... I wish things were different since everything before Fallout 4 makes up a good chunk of my gaming. Not hating on you WiseFish for snagging a sponsorship either, just seeing Starfield and knowing I would purchase Bethesda games day one... It feels like watching an old friend who never grows as a person try to get you to come party when you have to work or sleep.
People who found the Big MT before the courier: Father Elijah: I found this place scouring the wasteland seeking great and fantastic technology to defeat the NCR. Christine: I found this place looking for Elijah to kill him, for he is too dangerous to be allowed to live. Ulysses: Those rain clouds ain't right, man.
The CIT was most likely heavily monitored and limited by the US Military Junta/Enclave who were most likely siphoning funding budgets for their own projects like the ARCHIMEDES System or the Vertibird research. Big MT was unsanctioned from the get-go and was allowed to do whatever they want as long as the military junta could appropriate the technology. The real question is, how come Big MT is more technologically advanced than the Enclave who most definitely could’ve taken or bought the technology?
I mean to be fair Elijah is a pretty fucking low bar to set lmao he kidnaps and straps bomb collars to the group in Sierra Madre to make them work for him.. not exactly the picture of empathy
There's a haunting sight if you go into Higgs Village, if you go to Mobius's home outside you see a small playground and inside his house is a childs bed and toys, it's never referenced a single time, there's no dialogue, but that was more haunting than 90% of everything else in the DLC, Mobius had a family at one point, he had a child who would play outside their home, and now 200 years later he's lost so much of his mind he doesn't even remember he lost his child, he doesn't even remember he had one, he is completely alone and has been for centuries and yet he's too insane to even realise he's lonely
I did a Wasteland handyman build.... lemme tell you something. Having to ability to access EVERY room in big Mt is almost a curse. 10 plus hours just reading lore, 8 of those hours were me asking myself if the Obsidian Devs are okay. First the Sierra Madre. Had me in awe for the dlc... OWB came out and i built a concious while reading terminals... Big Mt has affected me and the way i play FNV.
At first I thought these were just some funny, if not misguided robots. Then one of them told me about what he did to his dog… so I decided that it was Mobin’ time.

Borous , the one who had the dog, has clearly a lot of trauma related to school and youth, which you can help him resolve and fix his fixation. Then you can help Dr Dala who clearly has sexual energy and relating to others issues you can resolve. Dr. Zero, which has a huge hangup on his humanity in his name being validated. Dr 8 gets off to talking to a female courier lmao but hes easily satisified (in both ways) with just having someone understand him (if you have a science check iirc) because he cant speak normally anymore. Dr klein doesnt have much growth but he probably was a stunted and shrewd researcher before the war and his worst qualities come out now that they are crazy. Mobius, too , is degrading but he was able to recognize his and he knew they were on unsustainable paths and took true leadership but lost his friends in doing so. Tragic. But i believe even mobius says the best way to peacefully talk them down is to appeal to their humanity So I say that they still had their humanity its just quite buried by time and pressure and brain gel.
I'm a forgiving person but i well never forgive those scientists for developing the friggin' Cazadores!! I'd rather fight two DeathClaws naked armed only with a straw than those damned winged menaces!!
M$ needs to put Obsidian on a new Fallout game with a big budget. Todd must have hated how much fans loved New Vegas and how, despite the buggy launch, and short dev time, is considered the best FO game by many. I don't want to 10 years for another FO game, with only FO 76 updates on offer.

You can leave the big empty as their leader. With some of the possibilities of these games, the protagonist can get their hands on. Could make one hell of a sequel as an enemy or hero. Or hell a gta style combination of all three locations. Capital waste land vegas and Boston. Yes, i know three different time lines, but. Easy work around. Given the right story, the courier could make one hell of an enemy. The big mountain tech plus all the fun stuff from the casino. Just imagine.
Honestly it bothers me that the majority of their stuff were all scientists and that there weren’t any individuals that kept them in line or establish some type of ethics on what they’re allowed and not allowed to do under the military watch.🐱

The think tanks methodology with how they handle things over error absolutely atrocious yes but they're in results at the end of it all was these lost mines broken because of 1/4 thought error that deleting their memories they should have dulled down the emotional supports for those memories since they were now digital slightly so they could edit the emotional feelings out of their memories of the horrifying events But keeping those horrifying events from never happening again you know
It really sucks when you watch a 17 and a half minute video only to realize that it's really a less than 15 minute video with a 2 minute advertisement for a poor rated graphics card that is more prone to overheating and failure than to being a good investment for your PC.
