    there's pauses in between the bems of the sounder, making them sound like really low pitched polish EHL S10's.
    little fun fact: this crossing actually had gates in the past, also the gate base on the signal on this side is unique

    Did some of the train fans managed to record some of the Ukrainian crossings before the whole war thing started? Are they similar to the russian ones with the oversized crossbucks and lights and bell on top?

      this video is of a romanian railroad crossing, but i'm still going to explain the whole point to you.
      there may be some train fans that recorder ukrainian railroad crossings before the war started, yes.
      firstly, let's talk about Svetofor. Svetofor was a railroad equipment factory that started in the early 1900s, and got bankrupt in 2010s. It was situated in Dnipro, Ukraine. But the whole USSR and communist helping things, and that ukraine and russia were both in the soviet union, they had the same Svetofor crossings. that's why russia and ukraine have the same soviet crossings. from what I saw, the most common type used in both countries is the Svetofor type II-73 and Svetofor type III-73. oh yeah, it's not only russia and ukraine, but all the post-soviet countries had those Svetofor railroad crossings.
      what you're seeing in this video is a credited design to a really rare (today extinct) version of Svetofor type II-69's.

    Those crossbucks looks likes the one from WSSB Crossings designs From Germany just without the light in the center of the crossbuck

      No you see the german wssb crossbucks are differend compared to this one in Romania so the crossbuck is 100% Romanian.

    • @adriancruceru9555
      @adriancruceru9555 18 дней назад +6

      nahhhhh, the wssb crossbucks have lego-like patterned holes in them, whilst being thicker than the ones in here.
      anyways, the crossbucks on this crossing are made by Vesta

    Acesta este un clopoțel agățat deasupra crucii și Luminiilor de unde se aude sunetu ăsta de la speaker sau este un fel de speaker acolo înăuntru în clopoțel?

    • @adriancruceru9555
      @adriancruceru9555 18 дней назад +3

      sunetul se aude din cutia de clopot de sub cruce. stiu, ar fi trebuit sa fie un clopot mecanic inauntru, dar cumva exista niste sonerii mai mici care le poti baga in cutiile de clopot mecanice. soneriile sunt cel mai probabil facute de ISAF S.A. .

      Me thinks that's the "all systems functioning" white light above the crossbucks, but for some reason the one on this side wasn't working.

      @@markschroeder2578 it is working.

      @@markschroeder2578 we were talking about the sounder on this crossing, but let me explain about the white lights on romanian level crossings.
      white light means "pass with caution", it means that the crossing is clear, but you should be warned that there may be still a train passing and the crossing not activating (only in malfunction cases).
      the white light works on this side though, and if you're talking about why it didn't turn on when the crossing deactivated, well... some romanian railroad crossings have a cooldown between the deactivation and the white light.
      oh yeah, interesting fact, white lights were added on romanian railroad crossings after the 2000s.
