You pushed the adapter in to far, only the threaded part goes into the pump seal.
You put the pump in thene whene its in the tire you press down on the thing

Um the question is why did you have that in your shop Kev you’ve got some explaining to do
You should put another set of them on your rc and try and float
Those pumps with the levers can be a pain to work out how to use them
Got one for my bike and I have plenty of issues for a few minutes just trying to work it out, it works eventually though
Those one that come with the RC wheels are probably a rubbish design or something
