Hi, I'm sorry but maybe you can help me. I'm searching for a mirror replacement for a Jumper Mk3, that is the same as this ones and I'm not sure which one has got the automatic folding motor. 8 pin ones??
@@JR-km9zg same van, different badge. In Europe we have 3 vans that are essentially the same with a different badge and the door it's exactly the same as I can see in the video.
@@JuanjeteMS the Amazon promaster 3500 mirrors are not electric folding mirrors , driver side mirrors for them have 2 plugs , I don’t have it in front of me but I’m pretty sure both plugs are 2 wires each , one for ambient temp sensor and one for electric motor
Done! On a 3500 there was another T40 on the top. Just dont force, if you feel resistance stop. After I put it together I saw the connectors I just installed under the speaker, Oh well, once you start ya can't stop. My sensor is now back to normal, Auto Zone told me it was the in line sensor, so I replaced that for $26. NO that wasn't it. I read that that bad sensor could also effect your MPG.
the switches are mounted different on a 2019. Couldn't get them out but I managed to unplug the mirror harness on the van and replaced the broken mirror.

That sensor is not from ram promaster. On ebay they sell a sensor identical to the original, only you have to put the connector on it because it does not come with it.
Stupid wiring design. The wire disconnect should have been right behind the mirror and not behind the door panel. I see both Promaster and Transit plagued with all kinds of issues. Doesn't look likes anything has changed for improvement even with the 2020 Promaster. How long before Toyota brings the HiAce cargo van to America? It would be worth paying an extra $5K or more for a Toyota over a Promaster and Transit and not have all of these failure issues.

Thanks for this video! I swapped out my mirror (and temp sensor) in under an hour and saved almost $300 in doing so!

Procedure is same, just two sets of wires and two plugs from mirror and a much more expensive mirror. There are better videos of this.

There is no need to pull the entire door panel off
How do you get to the switch then?
