I agree one of the best I’ve seen.
Would also like to add for anyone reading that if you have heated mirrors be careful removing the mirror. There are two wires attached to the back of mirror that can not be removed. I just left the mirror dangling while I replaced the bulb and had no issues. Took abut 3 minutes.

If you push the mirror glass inwards beside the flasher - you can access the screws without pulling the mirror glass off.

Hummm, it takes 2 seconds to remove the glass to have an unobstructed access and view. I remove the glass like he did. JMO
I have tried out and my mirror cracks a bit so I have leave it as it is :( perhaps it's non OEM mirror fitted in and that's the reason why it won't unclips. But yeah video is cool, keep making stuff like this it's really helpful, direct to point step by step 👍😉 I haven't enough luck I suppose 🤔 all the best 😉

Don't try to pull that mirror off if it's cold outside, either it'll break or the mounting tabs will. Warm it up with a heat gun ( take your time) 1st! Otherwise, very straightforward vid! Thx for posting!

Bro!!! Top notch video. I do all my own work...I mean...with help from RUclips. But seriously I just did exact same job on drivers side - super easy - thx for paving the way. Took 40mins start to finish and thats with an IPA in one hand🤪

I do have one. ruclips.net/video/cdPF1l98lXU/видео.html . You can access the bulbs without removal but its too hard to explain and not enough room to film. Its more of a touchy feely thing. You have to do it blind and use yours hands as your eyes. The video link that I attached will show you how to take the entire assembly off and you will have more access. Make sure to subscribe and you can search thru the playlists on the channel and find everything I have on Promasters under the Promaster playlist. Dont forget to share the videos with others.
Old vid, but I'm sure this will help me a lot changing turn signal lense which I cracked. Is the mirror part pop out going to add easy on 2018 cargo van heated extended mirror? TIA

Thanks for the kind words. Not sure whats avail in the aftermarket world.....the first place I would check is the dealer and then research (google) the part number to see who has it the cheapest. Be aware people, if you have non genuine/aftermarket mirrors, (like i do) when you grab the bottom of the mirror to un-click it ,in doing this you may well break your mirror motor mounting on the back of the mirror glass, thats what just happened to me, (another good reason never to by cheap non genuine/OEM
rubbish)
One thing I have learned over the years when working on cars.....stick with OEM parts when ever possible. I havent had much luck with anything aftermarket so I avoid them when ever possible. Thanks for the warning and for watching. Make sure to subscribe

Actually its even easier. You pull the mirror/glass off just like on the larger Promaster and then you have access to the bulb. No lens assembly to pull off and no screws to remove. Thanks for the question and make sure to subscribe if you havent already.

can you swap in a heated mirror into a standard side mirror and run wires and a switch for a converted standard mirror into a heated mirror?
Do you have a link for the plastic cover. I have been looking for one . For 2021 pro master 3500. And no has it. Dodge wants to sell me the whole mirror assembly. For $800 . And all I need is the plastic cover you just removed.
Is the procedure the same if you have power mirrors?

Too bad. Without that Amber hood a nice LED would probably fit. There are complete LED replacement assemblies though.

The procedure is different. It's actually easier. I will try to film the bulb replacement soon and check on that button you mentioned. Make sure to subscribe so that you get notified when I upload videos such as that.

Should be in the LF (drivers) mirror assembly. Its that "bump" underneath

Hi how are you, I have a ram promaster 2014 and I just purchased the whole assembly for the driver side on amazon, I really need help installing it though Anyway you can do a video on that?

I have a 2016 ProMaster that I need the bottom mirror for the driver side and also the lens cover for the blinker light that's on the mirror. do you have any idea where I can purchase those besides the dealership, the dealership is trying to make me purchase the whole mirror assembly

🤬 F*** Chrysler. I bought the bulb the owners manual recommended and it doesn’t work. This video knows the part number better than the damn manufacturer
No warning whatsoever that the mirror could crack when grabbing it at the bottom. No word how to pull it so that it doesn't crack.
You do not have to take the card to this ...
These vans are total junk
Depends on how they are maintained. I have customers that have 400,000-500,000 miles on theirs
