That’s not really true not all of them has painful past like akuma and yujiro are just evil they had everything they want in their past without a single tragic thing and they still evil and that’s what they call a pure evil

We never saw Arlecchino got mad, nor did we see her waver. She's always rational and does not let her guard down. She has to become the foundation of the House of the Hearth so that her children will become independent and won't have to walk the same path as she did
Shoving aside your emotions and doubts so you can charge ahead is, in itself, impulsive and poorly thought-out. Whilst logic does have its place in ethics, so does emotion. If people solely relied on logic to make decisions, then we'd all be nothing more than Cybermen; cold, unfeeling, and stagnant.
There _is_ something to be said about not letting your emotions cloud your judgement, but you still need some of it to know if something feels wrong.

"Experience builds character" as they say. Arlecchino's way of thinking and the logic behind her decisions and behavior fits her well lore-wise.
She was the black sheep of the House of the Hearth, a house devoided of affection. It was a "kill or be killed" and everyone were regarded as pawns. Peruere witnessed the cruelty in the House under Crucabena's time.
Clervie who was Crucabena's biological daughter was quite opposite to that of Peruere. She was affectionate, lenient, and caring about the people surround her.
Peruere witnessed her only friend died into her arms. In her eyes, showing emotions is unnecessary as it shows weakness, vulnerability, and irrationality.
The Arlecchino that we see now was the Peruere who was molded by the cruelty of the world,casting aside her empathy to do what she thinks is right

Arlecchino is definitely a true gem, She may look intimidating and badass on the outside, but on the inside she is such a caring person that loves her children, her relationship with Clervie was a big deal towards her and this gave Purere a snap, manages to kill Crucabena with her own armor and and becomes on what should be peaceful in House of the Hearth, definitely the opposite of Crucabena, she is justice.
Is it weird that as time goes on I actually respect the Fatui?
So she's an example of "Evil Has Standards", so what? She's a career criminal and an active danger to others, so why do people think she's such a nice person?

But when she had a good friend by her side, she could have had a wonderful childhood, but reality cruelly deprived her of it.
She had already been through too much pain to put anyone else through the same.
Because Arlecchino don't like the "mother", she became displaced children's "father" when she grew up

Ironically out of all members of the Fatui, Arlecchino is probably the only one who lives up with her title based on the original. And she is definitely the one who really embodies the Pyro element the best: someone who values their own individuality and self-determination.
The fact she went through the worst fate had in store for her, spat in its face and refused to be the monster it tried to make of her earned her my eternal respect.
Still ain't gonna pull her though since I can't dodge worth a damn.
Sometimes i do wonder. While she made it clear she cared for others and not as heartless and cold blooded as Crucabena, i ask myself if she's ever broke down when she recalls the past when no one was around
I would imagine she sheds a few tears. She seems too fucking tough to break down as cathartic as that could be for her though.
After knowing more about Arlecchino, there's a good reason on why she is best to be known as "Father" for a reason, Hoyoverse has nailed her character perfectly.
There's not a good reason, though. There's nothing stopping her from simply being kind and _meaning_ it, but she instead chooses to be cold and distant.

I _can_ understand Arlecchino not removing the House earlier, but the Fatui have no need to operate in Fontaine anymore, nor do they need new spies. Considering the Fatui only have to get one last Gnosis, they're so close to being done that it'd be a waste to chase after an orphanage, let alone one guarded by someone who almost rivals the Archons in strength and, if needed, call upon the likes of Neuvillette and the Traveller for help.
Arlecchino's Story Quest should've been about her attempting to take the children to safety instead of her being mysterious like the tryhard she is.
I also don't care about her curse or her sob-story of a childhood, as it's irrelevant to her duty as a _parent;_ she needs to suck it up and _deal with it_ because that's what she signed up for when she took responsibility for the children.
I _get_ that trauma is hard to overcome, I'm struggling with it myself, but Arlecchino has _kids_ to look after, meaning that she _can't_ spend her time moping around, putting up an intimidating front, and generally just being an edge-lord.
It feels both weird and sad when you see a character like Arlecchino crying

I would love an event or smth of them just convincing her to relax-
Finding videos like this in the future truly become one of the best moments in my life when I really need it. A sense of closure for a character, but also a memory where I will be able to remember why I keep moving forward instead of staying in the past.

Your art style is awesome. I have done the Quest but didn't feel much but after watching this it made me cry. Well Natasha is Raven's HSR variant and it's highly likely that Arle is her Genshin variant- there are way to many parallels between them for it to be a coincidence
