Nice review, I've really enjoyed it as well. It's a fun one to just sit back with after a stressful day and yet still experience the exciting fun of racing. And all the career mode moments keeping it fresh was a nice surprise.
I just played the demo on Xbox and this is a definite buy. EUR 30,- seems a lot for a "retro" game, but this is much, much more than a low-pixel racer (there are piles of them). The racing is very enjoyable and engaging. Thanks for your review.
Haven't had this much fun playing an F1 arcade racer since Ayrton Senna Super Monaco GP ll..... I even paid full price for it , addictive gameplay and I love the AI in this game ,it's so well done and just straight up fun to play... While I love the graphics in this game ,I'd love to see a more realistic car version but with this exact gameplay.... And they absolutely nailed the engine sounds
Wait a minute, how did you end up with that 60s/70's skin? That's amazing! Great game - I was part of the early access as well and have loved every minute of playtime from the start. It's a perfectly balanced racing game.
The fuel load makes a huge difference to your speed so I actually found that a 2-stop strategy worked better most of the time. I was impressed with how different each strat felt tbh
This looks pretty cool, I've noticed a lot of the fantasy drivers are based on real drivers, the engineer looks like Lewis Hamilton (so he became a crew chief basically after retirement?) And Mike Holden is basically Murray Walker.
Hmmm I find it all a bit lackluster... I expected more! Better gamefeel, better graphics, sense of speed, etc. Maybe I'm spoiled by GT7, F1 and even GTA5 open wheel racing.. Fortnite Rocket Racing is swell as well.
@@dgoodin24 let’s see how the sales go before you say it’s not. This is a budget indie game that should be €20 at the absolute max. Many people, myself included will wait for a sale. Lots will forget it came out and ultimately not buy it. I’ll wait till it hits €10

Might not be fully my style, but i'm glad I know about this one. for f1 heads, it's a nice change from the super simulator style of things

Well worth $30 in my opinion! The devs get so much right in the game and left out some crap I hate in other certain so called AAA racing games!
I kinda agree tho I think I will wait till the 10-20 dollar range to grab this but it looks like a good game.
