I remember when the falls view and casino was being built. We used to vacation in Canada every other year growing up. We went for Mother’s Day one heat and stayed at the Hilton which used to have the best falls view. That year it had the best construction view 😂
Oh no... construction view is exactly what you want for your vacation. But good to hear about Hilton's view. I might check that out one day. Any tips for which floor to stay on/requests to the hotel? Is the breakfast any good? Thanks!
Nice, thanks for the wonderful review, I'm planning early for the solar eclipse in 2024, we've stayed at The Oakes nearby which is also very nice but Marriott is now in my BonVoy rewards and we'll probably stay here on points with a possible surcharge for view. I wish you showed a bit of the hotels other amenities like Pool, sauna, hot tubs etc but still a very nice review and thank you again.
@@LivinginCanadaI need to ask u I booked the hotel for May 23-25 of 2024 I have one King room with whirlpool Superior Falls View is that good will I be all the way up top or do I have to tell them?
Same here! It doesn't matter how luxurious the room is. If the bathroom is dirty it's a no! :) So far I had good luck asking the hotel in advance to pay extra attention to cleanliness.
I'd write something like "Please ensure that the room is extra clean, especially the bathrooms. A common problem I see in hotels is also the shower curtains having mold. Kindly provide clean shower curtains." Sometimes also 'please do not use any air fresheners/sprays". Just add anything else that is particularly important to you. Hope that helps!
Marriott also owns the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel right by Clifton Hill. I thought it had better views of both falls and being a short walk right to Clifton Hill made the location better as well.
I like the tip about requesting an extra clean room. I will try asking for extra hair containers! Do you have a packing video? I love learning about how people pack. I always take public transportation so less is best.
Glad that was useful! And thanks for the idea, something I’ll consider making in the future. We also always travel light, I can carry as little as a small backpack for a 2-3 days trip!
Hi, we are going there next month. How easy it is to go to Toronto from Niagra via a train? Can I leave in the morning and come back late in the afternoon? Thanks
It's very easy and convenient, check out my other video on this: ruclips.net/video/ADT-q0o0yYg/видео.html The only thing to note is that there are only few services. Try to take a direct connection to save time!
I may have missed it, but what did you pay for parking your car? I know this hotel offers valet service, but do they have an in and out lot for park ur own car? I've stayed here a long time ago and I remember I had to walk quite a distance to get my car. Thanks! Great vid!
I didn't bring a car, so I'm not sure how much parking costs, unfortunately. We took the GO train to Niagara, and used the WeGo bus there (at that time we got free tickets from the hotel, but not sure if they still offer that). Hope you can find the answer on the hotel's page!
The price that you've spent is unbelievable low. The good but simple meal around there could cost $50-$70 per person, plus admission to all the attractions. Good proper and safe parking there is also $25-$40....
Thanks! I believe now it's around $150+tax ~ $200+/night...(without breakfast!) At that time it was low season so I paid about $30-40 less. I guess prices may go up near summer!
I'm not sure, the bed seems very heavy, couldn't imagine that people move it :D But who knows. It could also be a different type of room, but I'm not aware of any with beds beside the window.
I’m from Toronto and been Niagara Falls many times, but never stayed over. Appreciate this.
Stayed in a room just like this about 20 years ago but on a much higher floor. The view was mesmerizing.

The room and bathroom look amazing the view so beautiful.
In reality it is even more beautiful. It's really worth it.

The video was taken quite a while ago, during the pandemic, so unfortunately all amenities were closed. But good question!
Hey can I know about oak hotel river view room details
Thank you. We've booked a room here for May 2023. I can't wait but will have to.
Hope you got a good rate!

Subscribed ❤️ I would like to visit this Summer for my birthday with my mom. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, hope you'll like it here!
First thing I check is the carpet and if the carpet is dirty then it get carry to every where in the room and onto the bed.
Very helpful thank you for making this video
Glad it was useful!
Thanks for the tip about the clean room. My top priority when traveling is a clean room or it would ruin my vacation.

I've never stayed there, thanks for the tip!
It would have been nice if you could have shown us the swimming pool and the other amenities

Hi. Really enjoyed your video. Can you advise the distance (walking) to the town area? Is it far to walk to see the falls up close?

Hi wich App you use for the reservetion?
I used booking.com, that's the website I like to use!
good lock

Yes, at that time it was rather low season, during the pandemic when many places were closed. Now prices are already much higher.
@@LivinginCanada You had a really good luck with this :)
Hi Im on a budget for a family of 4 it’s my dream to see the falls which hotel gives you the best view please for August time as well
Great information May I know how much you book it for?

Hav you seen the EXTRA city fees+destination fees BS? Also parking is a nightmare.
Does the room's window open?
Good question! I actually didn't try it, so I don't know. I would guess that you could perhaps open it just a bit.
Can I view it from upstate new york?
I've never viewed it from the other side, perhaps someone else can chip in here!
I see people that the bed is by the window, do they just move the bed by the window?
I'm not sure, the bed seems very heavy, couldn't imagine that people move it :D But who knows. It could also be a different type of room, but I'm not aware of any with beds beside the window.
did you have to pay for parking there?
I just called this hotel for prices, and they told me $984 per night. I said, no thanks.
Try booking.com, I usually get better prices there. But it's high season, I think starting end Sep/Oct the prices go down to around $250
I wouldn't want to go in winter
The view is splendid in the winter, but yes, awfully cold! Spring/Fall would be ideal.
I am wetting your answer
Are you planning to travel to Niagara?
hi, i was there in 2018 and i am planning on going there this year.
@@mranderson7552 Sound like a great idea, it's really a nice place to spend the holidays!
not planning but I want to visit there and toronto sometime
Hello
Welcome to the channel!
Absolutely NOT worth the cost unless you’re going to spend every minute in your room.
Omg why do you talk too much and don't show a lot of footage of the views and so on 😂 way to promote yourself more I guess lol
It's a video about the hotel
😂😂😂
REALLY?
Really really really.
Really, really, really, really.
No, really?
it's my husband and I...( learn grammar)
You're right! It's easy to fall into the conversational "My husband and me".
it's, MY HUSBAND AND I
