Hello just a friendly reminder that the msn/hsn commununties have told us to not say "going non verbal" as it is a important identity for them, as well as non speaking. Alternatives are verbal shutdown, autistic mutism, temporarily not being able to speak... :)
ironically, pandemic made me realize how ignorant the world is towards autism and neurodivergence in general. i remember when, during the isolation, everyone were constantly whining how hard it is to stay home all day, to not socialize, and meanwhile i was just chilling, i was literally in my zen zone, my natural habitat. it's like the world finally let me be myself. in a way, neurotypicals switched places with us, autistics. they faced a TINY BIT of what it's like to live in a world that doesn't meet your needs and they're already talking about how this 'trauma' will last for generations and what a great 'unreversible' damage it inflicted on global mental health. and we live like this, but in their world and by their rules, for our whole lives, and nobody cares, and nobody gives us special treatment, and everybody tells us it's only our problem. they lived in social isolation for a year, and we live in social exposure, which is just as stressful and damaging to us if not more, until the day we die. the lack of awareness and empathy for autism is criminal.
literally so relatable like im almost done with highschool and im supposd to get a job but every SINGLEE place i try to look into id immediatly get overstimulated in those enviorments and not be able to talk for a solid 6 hours- like howww am i gonna do life with all of this
This was really well made and well said, i dont know how it only has 80 views! You deserve watly more subscribers (I'm now your 87th one). I definitely agree that autism is a disability. It's definitely affected me a lot as a university student, especially the social aspect. I've faced direct discrimination for my autism from fellow students and it was ironically at a time when i decided to push myself harder to be neurotypical! I tried giving them what they wanted but they still hated me. What's weirder is one of them is autistic but tries to act neurotypical and doesn't really have any social issues. They have loads of friends and are very outgoing. I think they must feel some shame and really want to be neurotypical. I'm no longer doing that but it happened during my 1st year and my 2nd year was very lonely. My 3rd year has been surprisingly very good and I've managed to make friends and revive the Neurodiverse Society in my university.
Oooooh I can't stand those ignorant comments! 😡There's nothing that pisses me off more than people who invalidate your feelings and experience. Some people think they know everything. And honestly, it's those types of callous comments--that line of thinking--which makes things worse. Yes, I've already called myself "lazy," "pathetic," "stupid," etc. everything under the sun. It doesn't help. What helps is empathy, patience and understanding. Even though I get mad, these people's comments don't matter. They have no clue what it's like to be in my shoes or anyone else's.
Hi, Payton! I have autism as well as mental and physical illnesses. I think it's awesome you are bringing this to light! I'm subbed! -Shirley Giordano and Skittles Marie 🐱 🐈
If you don't work, how are you able to manage finances? Curious as an autistic person with a chronic illness/physical disability that worsens this problem who is very afraid of the future and not theoretically being able to get a job. Thanks.

Thank you for teaching me something! I was unaware, my apologies!
Please tell me what msn and hsn are, I cannot find anything on it and I would like to know!
I believe it stands for medium support needs and high support needs. Please do correct me if I am wrong

Real..
this video was really pleasing to watch, the lighting was just sooo soothing, such a good vibeee!
You're so right! I can't stand when people say everyone goes through that. It is so dismissive and ableist.
"Everything I don't like should be, everything I like is a human right and should be paid for by others!" - I'm being facetious.

Great video and very relatable. I cope with video games, music and doodles.
Love your night in the woods pfp!
@Payton_Ward thanks it's one of my favourite games that I could talk about for hours.
I dont do good in crowds or concerts. And i despise noticing everything around me. I have social anxiety as well. It's annoying 😑 😒 🙄
