You don't have 300 days of sun. I grew up in Longmont and you get 250. I now live in Phoenix and we have a true 300 days. It's a marketing lie from Colorado. But 250 out of 365 is a ton of sun. But 300 is borderline too much.
Agree on the 300 days - probably a bit of a marketing thing.. I'm surprised Phoenix isn't 360/365 days of sun haha. I love Arizona - sounds like you're in a good spot now!
@livingindenver303 we felt every bit of that sun this summer lol. I do muss the 4 seasons of Colorado though. If I moved back it would be Estes, Ned or somewhere in the mountains.
@livingindenver303 if you add in partly cloudy/partly sunny days you get to 300. But when you look up who gets the most clear sunny days CO is a shade above 250. Can't have all those cooling thunderstorms during the summer and perfect snow without clouds. But 250 is a ton of sun in comparison to the rest of the country.
Great video!
If your hair is standing up you are at risk to be struck by lightning 🌩
NO THANKS
