- Honda's hugely popular CB500X has been given a makeover for 2024, as well as a new name - the NX500.
This adventure bike inspired 'crossover' utilises Honda's venerable A2 compatible, 471cc parallel-twin engine and delivers an easy going and versatile motorcycle, now with the added advantage of less weight, more aerodynamic bodywork, added rider aids and a smart TFT dashboard.
Insidebikes' Paul spent some time with this 'new' model earlier to bring us this video review. Read his full report on our website, at: www.carolenash...

I have been a biker for over 50 years, had loads of fast bikes, but now I'm older this size engine and wieght suits me just fine. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable high mpg machine!
Same here I love my CRF300 but something a little more powerful and interesting would be nice.
@kevinarmstrong478 I've had interesting and powerful, but as you get older (70+) your needs and expectations change! Love from Leeds x
@@rontheretiredone very true I hope I will be riding into my 70’s plus too. And yes the NX is a great bike for us older guys I went with the CRF but would like something a little lower and slightly better on the road and the Nx is on the short list!
@@kevinarmstrong478make it a 350 or a 400cc will be much better. It will be the same VED band and will still sip fuel
Traded in my gs exclusive for one of these , loving it 😊
Ive seen this bike now i think i prefer one of the last cb500x
Bam ! Me too .
Can I ride this bike 65mph for an hour comfortably?
NX750 with the Transalp engine is needed to go up against the Vstrom 800re now.
In Norway the price is 9800 Euro pluss registration the dealer cost then it cost about 10500 euro!
does seem expensive to have any vehicles in Norway.
Get a T7
@@chrishart8548 No an i have put on enginebars 200 pound then a main support 230 pound so now it is pretty good actually and it is cheap insurance too it cost about 350 pund a year for full coverty so i am happy _)
best regards from Norway! :)
Rather damning with faint praise, basically "It's not as bad as you'd think" conclusion. Other reviews have been much more positive.
Why is he talking so loud?
😊
The CF Moto 450MT is going to slaughter the NX looking ah how much more the MT provides.
Make sure you pack your toolkit when riding your CF Moto Lol
It's no Honda though.
I bought my cb500x for the long haul, the CF Motos won't worth fixing when they are 5yrs old
@@jamiepops62 very true I expect with the minimal of care my CRF should make it way past 100 000 kms however CF Moto have been in Australia for decades and have a decent reputation and the 450 is a reasonably sedate low compression engine that should last well.
@@kevinarmstrong478the 450 cf moto does seem to good to be true.
How is this bike in motorway speeds? Do you feel much vibration on the handle bars and footpegs?
Also, what are the fuel economy mpg, numbers?
