if you wsntto use your tractor as apposed to a wheel loader for log loading, double wheels and adds weight and the wheel weight adds weight too so you get more base weight. the wide twins maie it harder for trees to thorw your tractor around so does the heavy weight
I appreciate the effort you put in for us just for something as simple as this! I'm on no mans land with the starting tractor and seeder still. And it's really hard because its constantly losing grip and breaking traction especially on the plot of land to the west, I plowed about a 5 Acer field amd its becoming hard trying to sow it! So I appreciate this bud!
First of all, Thank you for putting in the effort of creating these Videos you did a Great job and i'll definitely put your research to use! The Nokians on the Asphalt woulda been interesting, since its what they're intended for afaik. I can reccomend the guidance steering mod ( on official PC mod-site ) for more consistency on the runs, especially if you had issues with the tractors not going straight. Have an amazing Day!
It seems like weight distribution and ground type matter a lot more than some might think. I may go and do some testings of my own with the new Xerion (if I find the time).
Awesome series! But I'm curious how added realism wheels mod affect this. Since they more carefully calculate traction based on tyre contact area. Will it be the same conclusion or different beast of data altogether. I might need to test this myself
I wonder if some tires help with climbing stuff such as silage with out the tractor getting stuck or if we gat a smaller tractor and 99% max out it's carrying capacity if some tires that might no be tue quickest but can pull the implements we're some brands can't
I done some testing myself and the error in your test with respect is running something you don't have the hp for any increase of weight out whey the advantage they usually have in my testing weight balance is key and ground contact the more HP you can transfer to the ground the better the tracks are best when it comes to cultivation with a weight in front double all round is better than tack if ya don't want to tear up crops best if there narrow
Have you tried a different model of tractor to see if these findings remain consistent? It'd be interesting to see if a similar large Claas, JD, or Fendt configured with roughly the same HP, pulling the same implement would fare any different. Or those tractor designs that have the "hinge" in the frame that generally top out at 24mph (I don't know anything about tractors, I just play the game, lol) whether they would have completely different results due to being heavier/having a more even weight distribution between the front and back. If there is a really advanced tire modeling/traction system, I'd think testing between different tractor "types" would show it better than anything.
Thank you so much for all of the testing that you did! After watching these three videos on tire selection I'm wondering: will triples make a difference vs doubles?
Harvested?? would that include meadow grass? I'm trying to figure out which combo works best on those rolling hills of meadow grass. There's killer money in silage!! Be cool to see comparisons on tractor turning radius' - I have some favorite tractors/combos that turn on a dime, others not so much. Another good comparison would be the forage wagons and balers - I've noticed some pickup a wider swath and better in rough conditions. Also, I swear I've worn out a forage wagon, I'm sure it's not picking up as well as it did when it was new... I never repaint just repair, perhaps that matters??? Good vids!
What about the use for each type of tire? For instance, aren't narrow tires the only style you may use for herbicide or pesticide without destroying the crops? Don't the wide and twin varieties destroy the crops?
would love to know if these stats stay true for a few different tractors and if tractors like the 9RX perform better or worse than the 9R. also if the duel wheel setup is still true for the 1000 vario
From what ive seen its a pretty big Upgrade to the previous FS Games but i cant really Tell From Experience because i didnt get the Chance to buy fs22 yet
I only have 19 as a reference but I feel that 22 is a much better game. The addition of mulching, rolling, and workers driving around the map by themselves is awesome.
I would say fs22 is a big improvement upon 19. Rocks in prepped fields. Mulching required for max yield and yes the workers able to drive the map and do tasks is pretty cool compared. But it still has the bales in the shop bug.
If you'd actually paid any attention you'd see that the tires you pick actually make quite a huge difference and to an extent, the terrain you're driving on too. BKT twins on front and back were significantly faster than anything else in the game. The state of the field you're driving on also affected speed to certain degrees. Short answer; YES! IN BASE GAME IT DOES MATTER!! Don't like the video? Don't watch it dumbass. Nobody is forcing you to sit here and watch it and if you don't want to see them popping up there's an option to make RUclips stop showing videos from this channel. Have fun running around with Nokians if the research he's done here doesn't make a difference. I'd say the majority of people watching here found this extremely helpful.
It must be a real thrilling life you're living if you're spending your free time going through the comment sections of RUclips and spewing your baseless and toxic opinions where they are not needed and definitely not wanted. What's the matter, did mommy not give enough hugs to her little boy?
You had to put in a ton of time and work for this series. Thank you for the well-thought-out and carefully detailed data!
It has taken a while but worth the effort to get answers I was searching for.
After this useful test (thanks!) I think that FS22 manages different tires in an absolute unrealistic and random way.
7:40 turning the weight limit in the in-game settings on generally helps with that
I feel like you got an A+ in your statistics class after watching all 3 of these tire videos.
I so enjoy math and statistics quite a bit.

Great series! Now I know exactly what tyres setup to runvon my farm

I can look into different style tractors for sure.
Would be interesting what happens when it's raining or snow is on the ground

In theory they should, but probably depends on how how the modder sets them up.
Great vid 👌👍 driver very informative 👏 keep up the good work
Thanks man. Will do.

You are correct. Narrows will not destroy the crops.
@@Driver53Gaming Our medium/large tractors still destroy crops with narrows... 😶
The only con to doubles is they can make getting to the field awkward or impossible.
Very true.
can we see another video on the tires with the mud mod enabled?
Awesome content! +1 Sub 👍
Thank you for all the effort in making this great incredible helpful video! :-)

What about what tires perform the best in weather conditions? Rain snow ie
Dose the weights do anything in game or just for looks?
They help some tire configurations and hurt others. Part 2 of this series shows the results for 13 different configurations.
that's a line graph, not a scatter chart.
🚜🏁Awesome!
I have FS. 15,17 and 19. Is 22 that much better.. Anyone?

@@shokid24 there are still some things to iron out, but Giants is working to get them resolved.
@@Driver53Gaming any way you could do a video on what tools allow fast farming on console? So far I’ve only found the krone big mower and windrower ☹️
Short answer; NO! IN BASE GAME IT DOES NOT MATTER! Stop making videos about nothing!!!!!
