- A couple of nights at The Tent. I checked a few deer stands and did a little fall fishing. Checking things out for the upcoming deer season. Zach and I will be back up on the 22nd with my Dad to do the deer stand weekend. You can expect a lot of tent videos coming on Joe and Zach Survival. Stay tuned. Link to the knives that George sells will be pinned in the comments.

Love the video
How far is the tent now from farm house
Very cool knives! I already see 2 that I like.
thanks for the link just bought 2
@@bradkoste1128 i bought 2 as well. nice looking knives.
Everyone's favorite words from Joe: "I'm heading to the tent." 😁
No it's not. I don't believe in hunting and that's all it means. I don't watch for a few weeks when i know slaughter is going to happen.
I live to hear those words also! I am glad Miranda that you have found a way to work around your issues with hunting and still watch the other content. He has a lot of stuff going on that isn’t hunting. My family gets its meat for the year hunting. It’s a better way than getting food from a soy bean field that has been genetically modified and sprayed with weed killers and pesticide killing all the life except the soybean plant from the soil.
@@JL_10acres agreed. Wild game is organic, much healthier, leaner than some of that gmo enriched pen raised beef from the supermarket. Plus if there was no hunting seasons, there would be much more animal/vehicle collisions. Hunting is essential for managing the herd.
@@selms22 yeah. And all the dear would starve to death or die of sickness from overgrazing because people already killed off all the natural predators. Nature is out of balance and it's up to the hunters to keep the population managed. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to shoot a deer, but more power to all the hunters who do!
@@mircat28 get out of here. Lol
The birds. No matter how long you're gone they always come back for food. I love it.
Yup - when I saw that pen askew I sez, "No way Joe left it like that." Watching you feed the birds made my evening. Thanks!
You and your tent inspired me. Thanks, Joe.
I could live at The Tent full time!! Such a beautiful place to spend time!!
It’s good to see your dad out and about. Looks like he has given up his cane.
I just found this page by accident and watching this episode with the down to earth focus, the sense of history of hunting and preserving the area just made me want to go back to all the previous episodes and continue with new ones.
Love ur tent video can set and watch for hrs
Love your channel! Great stuff!
Joe is house proud like his father. I love that about them. Joe always makes tent dinners interesting to see.. Thanks for always sharing that with us. I also enjoy seeing your Dad.
Joe... puts out pieces of old bread for the birds.
Also Joe...
puts out a plywood 'Welcome mat' of a hundred 3-inch daggers for the bears!!!
:-)))
Something for everyone ;)
Well, Joe much like your rolling trash can marks time at the farmhouse, here your thermometer booting up and going off tells us exactly where we are. Funny how a small thing can become a familiar marker.
My dad always told me to keep a pack of playing cards with me in my bag when hunting cause if you ever get lost, start playing solitaire and someone will always come along and tell you how to play the next move!
Haha.
How long does it take you Joe,to drive from the farm house,to the tent, how many hours and how many miles is it
If you get lost just start fishing, the game warden will come by to check your license and you can ask him directions.
In the construction trade it goes" If you get lost pound a stake in the ground
, before long a truck driver will come along and run it over and you can catch a ride with him"
@@jamesfield6568 this is true, they’re watching you
Thanks for the upload Joe always awesome! To have a nice long video. And we are all grateful for the time you put into them.
I absolutely loved watching you feed the birds from your hand. That was amazing! Thank you for sharing that with us. 🥰
Oh boy 53 minutes of Joe. Thanks Joe we appreciate your videos very much. Hope everyone is well
My wife and I heard you say "Plenty of Tent Time Coming"...looking forward to it this fall and winter.
I have to say the Tent videos are my favourite, all of my favourite things to do are at the tent.
Thanks Joe for sharing!!
I really enjoy your tent videos. It's so peaceful and serene.
Joe- Consider covering the entire door. Apparently bears have evolved to understand a door is a way in, but if they dont see the door they dont try as hard to "get in it". Saw it on a big survival channel with a few million subscribers, very interesting idea. He is in Canada, but MN is close enough!
Wonderful video Joe
Always look forward to a new Tent video. Again, thanks for sharing!
Your Dad is such a good guy. I'm glad for you.
I always like it when your father shows up. It’s wonderful that he’s getting around so well. I’m amazed to see the birds eat out of your hand. 😀
They’ll be a lot more tent time! Those are happy words. Joe you’ve had an unbelievably busy year. I can’t imagine how you have looked forward to the start of the Fall beginning with the Duck Camp and not into Deer camp. Really enjoy these videos…..Best of luck in the coming season.
Finally, something good to watch! Thanks!
What a wonderful place to get away from it all. Those meals looked yummy 😋. Love how the birds eat right out of your hand. Have a great weekend!
You have a way of motivating me!! Its 11:55 p.m. and I feel the need to start a project.
Hi Joe thanks for a great video again I am glad you are back at the tent
Nice seeing your dad moving around. Thanks for video.
Thanks for the video!
My issue would be worrying about a Greek falling on my building. Especially an amazing place like yours.
I love the meticulous care you take when you get there. Pride of ownership. One of my favorite channels
Greetings from Ohio. I love that the birds come right up and eat out of your hand. Matter fact I’m jealous of that. Who wants to tell Joe that giving birds bread is not good for them at all. I’m sure if you look it up you’ll find out all the reasons why.
Thanks for sharing with us Joe. Good luck on your hunting trip!! Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻✋🏻✋🏻
Good to see your dad doing well.
Great job on the vids Joe thanks !
Another great video. Everything stops when I get a notification that a new video is posted. Thanks for sharing.
For those of us that dont get anymore time with our fathers, I wouldnt mind more banter between father and son on camera! Always great content...Deer season just around the corner!
Best of luck joe for the coming season. Mine in Michigan are coming to an end. Time has caught up with me. Your video is my salvation. Thanks so much. They mean a lot to me.
Great video buddy thanks for sharing I am looking forward to seeing more tent videos. I hope you all are having a great weekend.
Thanks for the tent video Joe
Joe I definitely think that when you feed the birds out of your hand is absolutely one of the coolest things ever!! My wife and I have a bunch of humming birds that we feed and my wife has been trying and trying to get them to eat out of her hands but it hasn’t happened yet!! They do get pretty close but not brave enough yet!! You definitely can’t get the birds to eat out of your hands hear in Iowa!!! Lol!!!
I really enjoy your videos it's as if you are in the same area as we are and you are one on one talking to us
feeding birds by hand......priceless ❤
Hi Joe. I finally got to see you use the shovel I sent you to clean out the woodstove. Works a little better than the plastic cup. LOL. Your Dad is looking good considering what he's gone through. I'm looking forward to the video's of hunting season at the tent. Thanks for sharing buddy. Take care.
That was nice of you.
Joe, when you arrive and enter the tent at 3:23 I notice all your books on the table end shelf were not in their usual place, yet when you are cleaning at 48:06 they are back. Just noticed, been watching a long time and the books not being in their proper place jumped out at me. Kind of crazy what you notice, good vid as always.
Same here! Noticed the books immediately. Was watching on my tv. Paused it. Grabbed my phone went to yt and headed to the comments to see if anyone else said anything.
snap i was thinking the same thing
Dido...
Me too. I gotta get a life.

What an awesome, relaxing tent video!! Thanks Joe 👍
Love your videos, reminds me of my camping days. I loved fishing up in Duluth, awe the days of fishing for Pike!
Really enjoy seeing what's going on at "the tent". You do a great job taking care of all you do there, and having fun and enjoying nature.
Yahoo Joe ! The Tent Show 🏆
I've bought one of George's knife outstanding holds a nice edge..
I haven’t finished watching the video yet but I’m so excited to subscribe to your channel! I probably only live a few miles from you, so being neighbors- had to! Though this is also the type of channel I love. I’m just shocked I haven’t come across it before.
Well can’t wait to see your videos. 😊👍🏼
Thank you. what road do you live on?
Why do I never see the 2 greatest Westerns of all time on your TV? True Grit and Lonesome Dove!
Looking forward too the tent season good look joe and mellisa
Hello Joe it has been a long time since I have left a comment. I still really enjoy your videos, It's great to see your Dad up and moving around. The 2021 Duck Hynt was fun to watch. Take care and keep on ding what you are doing. Thank you.

Tent fun, thanks for sharing
Great job on driving in that foggy weather.
Hi Joe and Melissa lovely video you even have the birds eating out of your hand
Love each season heading back to the tent.
LOVE the tent videos! We must have went to the same filet school. Same as how my Dad taught me. Although, I have always struggled with the "gutting." Can't wait for the next one, Joe!
Love how you feed the birds! So cool:)
Yay a tent video, thanks for taking us along.👍
Love this place.
Great video and the best time of year.
Regards
Mark
Can't wait for deer season. Stay safe and be well.
I know am usually just listing questions at you Joe, but this time, just want to say Thank You for the vlogs, I really appreciate you sharing your life with us all, that goes to Melissa, Zach, Sarah & Emily too! THANK YOU 💕
Great video. I really like how your dad’s words of wisdom have stayed with you. I’m sure that’s makes him happy to hear too.
BTW. From the Book of Joe,
“My way of relaxing is having a lot of stuff to do.” Sounds about right. 😉
It’s so beautiful off the dock I have been looking for a cabin on a small lake .
Another great video Joe! I wish I had a cabin up in the mountains and hopefully some day I will. It's a dream of mine.
Feeding the birds by hand...Very cool . G.
Blue pens???
Melissa has always been a bit of a rebel!!!
HA!
;-)
You did a lot of stuff up there but it looks so peaceful especially on the water see you next time
Always a nice trip to your tent pretty awesome .
Wow
Its that time again
Checking deer stands 👍
A Tent video! Looks like I'm staying up past bedtime 😁
Joe, Do you have a book fairy?? When this video started both book shelves on your table end were empty. Now 48 minutes in they are again full.....
Another awesome video Joe. I just wanted to say that around the 10 min mark of the video when you where taking your laptop out of the bag reminded me so much of watching Elmer Fudd standing there. Standing there with your orange hunting hat on and the silhouette behind you remined me of Elmer Fudd getting ready to catch that rascally old rabbit, but in your case to catch the elusive wood grouse...lol Looking forward to the upcoming hunting videos. Will Zack and Sarah be coming up for any of the season with you??? Hopefully we can maybe see a live feed again like you did a couple years ago. That was fun to watch and interact with you and the family/ Take care and stay safe and warm out there. Tom.
Good looking camp groundS!
glad to see your dad not needing his cane
Hi Joe,
Great video as usual. I paused this at 18:28 to tell you... your father is indeed for wise for his instruction to you when you were in your youth " Never leave camp without your compass and know how to use it ". If more people would use common sense and applied knowledge like that, we would never hear these horror stories of people turned around in the woods, a half a mile from camp that died from the elements. Great advice.
Sure looks like coming down the hill on Big Lake road in the beginning.
It is.
