I would take 34's all day on a 2 inch level versus 35's on a 2 inch level. Those 35's looked stuffed in their and look disproportionate to the wheel well. They look out of place. I would rather have it look better than to say "I'm runnin 35's". I think a 3-4 inch lift would work out better for the 35's. The 34's look perfect for the 2 inch level. I just bought a 2021 Carbonized grey a few weeks ago and am very happy to see this video as now I know to go 34's for the good looking fit. I also like more tire than wheel showing so I will go with 285\75\R18 (34.8" 11.2") instead of 20's. Thanks for the great video guys.
Do you know, if I had a 3-4" lift with 35's, real 35's like 35.2 or 35.4, will that size tire fit in the spare tire wheel well up under the rear? If not, where are the spares put? And what is the largest tire that would fit under there? Thanks.
2009 f 150 Lariat…..33.2 inch 275 70 18’s with 1 inch height adjustment on Billstein 5100’s…. In the rear Roadmaster active suspension to raise about a half inch…. Looks great, like a 3/4 ton truck, no penalty in mileage and handling….

@@TNAWWE the Ranchhand grill guard doesn't weight enough to squat it any, might see a 1/4in. drop with the full replacement Ranchhand, 3in. is to much, bad CV angles and kills ball joints, 2.5in. sits perfectly level.

It just takes a Phillips screwdriver......I wish you guys that lift or put taller tires or both would emphasize the importance of this for everyone else is benefit on the road. The carbonized grey, those tires look great and love to hear that ride quality and sound is still good. Not sure how I feel about carbonized grey yet, I have a 2020 lariat with metallic grey, it may be hard to give up when my lease is up next year.
I bet they were able to get away with it on the grey Lariet since factory tires are 33 inches, but they definitely should have done the speedo and alignment to the star white truck.

35's look ridiculous on a truck without a full suspension lift of 4 inches or more. 35's on a leveled truck aren't functional at all. Also, is it just me or do "leveled" trucks that sit higher in the front look like a dog taking a sh#$? Not to mention the headlights completely blind everyone else on the road. Now, if you tow or put weight in the bed, those headlights point to the moon! It reminds me of a kid I went to High School with in 92'. He was too broke to buy the entire lift kit at once, so he bought the front first and drove with it on for a year. Now every time I see a truck higher in the front, I think a kid is driving it and could only afford the front portion! 🤣 I'd stay with the 33s or a small 34 and put a 1 inch rake back in the truck, or actually make it level and put airbags in the back. Just remember to adjust the headlights down.
After getting stuck with a pile of crap 2015 F150 Platinum. I'll never buy another Ford truck again. Thing crapped out at 54k miles. Had to pay 5500$ to the dealership for repairs just to get limp it home. Stay away from F150s and save yourself cash and heartache.
@@RealDealNeal Sad thing is. It's a Platinum fully loaded. Heated massage seats and all the bells and whistles. Weather Tech floor mats and a Roll and Lock Bed cover. If I knew it was a pile. I would have at least saved the three plus grand I put on it in extras. Sorry but I can't ever in a right mind recommend these trucks.

I put 35x11.5 Ridge Grapplers on my ‘22 and it came out perfect to me. A mud terrain looks too big and chunky, but an all terrain 35 looks great imo.

Yes, 295/60/r20 is 34" and +12 offset is close to the original offset. You can fit these without a level let alone with one.

Love the grey but. It's not nearly as sharp as the Magnetic grey. Getting rid of that color option was not real bright on Ford's part.

Any decent tuner will have the speedometer calibration option as well as the tuning and also the ability to read and clear error diagnostic codes

if MPG is your primary concern, buy a prius.
I installed 285/65-20 Wildpeaks with a 2.5" level and lost 2.5mpg. They are big heavy tires compared to stock.
