So many people are forgetting that Hachi has the most growth throughout the show. I don't know if that's because many Nana fans are anime onlies, but manga Hachi is just 😍
In some ways I think I always liked her. Nana Osaki is cool but for some reason my personality is more alike Nana Komatsu than Nana O.

I think this is true, anime vs manga makes a big difference imo. When I watched the anime I liked Hachi but thought she was just okay. When I read the manga I fell in love with her and she’s now my favourite character from the series without a doubt!
I haven't read the manga but I think some of the big reasons to hate her is because of the way other characters think of her as well as since it's from her point of view you have to see ALL of her flaws constantly instead of indirectly. I love her though I think her flaws are very real for someone who is meant to be immature and still growing
I loved all of the outfits that you put together. I also loved the point that you brought up about Hachi, especially since she and Shin are my favorite characters. People hate on her but deny that she had a great storyline and development. Hachi slander would never be tolerated by me.
I mean She's human and how the author handles it is awesome. BECAUSE HUMANS ARE FRUSTRATING. (Yeah, Hachi is my favorite even tho I get annoyed by her sometimes. It's like a friend that just your head at yet still love deeply)
Yeah, the friendship between the girls was one of my favourite things! Especially considering how different they were as people.

Sometimes I wish that popular shows with great outfit designs had their own clothing lines, because the creativity of these artists is so amazing, and this video made me want it to be true even more. Its amazing!
i remember in the old issues of shojobeat they always had a "steal her style" spread recommending clothes u could get to look like some of the characters, nana and hachi were always in it!!
I loooove Ai Yazawa's works, she originally attended fashion school, although imo the most stylish anime is Paradise Kiss also by her, it's about fashion students and the manga was serialized in a fashion magazine.
The title made me scream! Nana is my favorite anime EVER and I've been watching anime since primary school. The art style and styling is gorgeous, the music is amazing and lovely and the whole story is so touching! I'm excited to see all these outfits
Can you do a Paradise Kiss video too as it is made by the same creator as Nana. Also I’m one of the Yasu fans out here, he always had a levelled head which was nice when everyone else when chaotic

Truly the most iconic anime in aesthetics and also the realism as a 25 years old person I was so done with the cliche romcoms , and craved sth more grownup, the relationships in NANA are so versatile and real I could relate to multiple characters at the same time, and the fits have always intrigued me, seeing u rock them was so fun
This show is great because how easy it is to relate to some of these characters, very happy the writer gave them actual outfits throughout the series where you a can connect a style with them. Such a great show and such a great collection of outfits you put together.
Can we all agree that Shoji broke our hearts like wtf no wonder hanchi ran towards takumi. Takumi is not my favorite character by far but at least he stepped up. Anyways I'm glad u said all characters were flawed and that's exactly why we loved this anime. The outfits were amazing!!

What you said about Hachi is so true she is not perfect like no character is, I think we should love both Nanas as much as we tend to lean more towards Hachi because she looks like us and hence the hate, we end up dehumanizing Nana and believe me, a person who has read and seen Nana over and over again, the more you notice Nana's faults the closer she will seem to you, maybe even more than Hachi

OMG I'm so happy with the resurging of NANA's popularity, I watched for the first time in 2007 and I'm still obsessed, Ai Yazawa is my favourite author ♥you did great with the looks
came here to say this! always thought it was a tremendously underrated series. i became interested in anime/manga basically because of nana and ended up hanging out with a bunch of weebs in high school who are still my friends to this day! i was the only nana stan though and they liked other more popular series which i pretended to like lol but nana is the only one that still holds up for me. it always seemed so much more nuanced and mature than other series which felt kind of childish in comparison... i found the characters way more relatable and complex. i'm sure there are other manga with similar themes out there but i've never found one that i liked so much!! so glad nana is finally getting the respect it deserves

I used to be obsessed with Nana when I was younger, read the manga, loved the live action movies and bought the anime❤️ Nana Osaki’s fashion was an inspiration to me at the time and I even cut my hair like hers at one point. Good times!
For shins outfit I think the pants were too baggy I think ripped skinny jeans that gathered at the bottom would've been better but your outfits are always on point I loved them all

My take on this show is that they all would have been happier if Nana and Hachi acknowledged the fact that they were SO INTO EACH OTHER and ended up leaving the men behind and getting together as a couple of powerful girlfriends
