Saving a family's hope

Michael Tumblod worked hard to afford a relatively comfortable life for himself and his family. However, two heart attacks, a diabetes and retina disease diagnoses, and an advice to undergo dialysis sessions brought 50-year-old Michael to his knees. Treatment nearly depleted the family’s resources. Michael found Tzu Chi Eye Center just in the nick of time. Now, with his eyesight restored, Michael is slowly rebuilding his life and his family's dreams.
