@QVRY8 I did not know that...I figured it would stay in New York state.. east of the Mississippi at the best. So NY central will rent the engine to BNSF?
@@jamescaliendo1030New York Central does not exist anymore, it's a Norfolk Southern heritage unit. But yes, that's the basic idea. Another railroad will "borrow" the unit if they end up in foreign territory.

Any engine can go anywhere in the country. This is an NS engine. Bnsf and NS pool power all the time here in CA.
