@@Grind_Fishing we were talking about your video Sunday lol. He gave me the full rundown of his kayak line. Still need to outfit it before I hit the water. Maybe we can join up and hit the water one weekend. I don’t have any Kayak fishing buddies yet lol
Thank you, I appreciate it. So the thing is you won’t find it online available to buy to my knowledge. If you are not local to Brazoria County Texas you can reach out to “Line Cutterz” tackle shop in West Columbia, Texas and I’m sure they could ship but I’m not sure on the cost. The full name of the kayak is a pro fish gear fin finder
I am not 100% sure on the weight capacity. I will try to get that info for you. I would say 350 or less. I would not recommend adding a seat for another person because of how soft the plastic is, it would not hold up to another seat.
Boonedox looks cool, but carts still function better. Boonesox can destroy kayaks if your not careful. Especially if it's not reinforced where it's mounted.
Sorry for the late reply. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend that landing gear on this specific kayak. While it functions fine, the plastic is really soft and I almost guarantee you would run into issues
anyone do a review on the waters with this kayak yet? There is one being sold on facebook marketplace brand new at $1,125. I'm tempted on getting it but at the same time I've never heard of this brand before. I have a Old Town 106 PDL and I'm loving it but I like that this kayak has build in gear tracks in the back so I can put the boonedox landing gear on it. I can't do that with my Old town 106 and I don' t want to drill holes in it too...bummer that Old Town can't just add in a strudy track in the back of theirs too.
You have never heard of the brand before because it is a Chinese import kayak. I have taken it out on the water 3-4 times and I like it overall. But first thing, just know it will not be near as high quality as your old town 106 pdl, it is also only a fraction of the cost. With the wheels it has underneath the kayak, I don’t think boonedox landing gear is necessary. Yes I think you could install the landing gear. My opinion is I would not recommend it, the plastic is pretty soft and I have heard of people having issues using the landing gear even on higher quality kayaks. Thanks for watching, let me know if you have anymore questions.
For sure, it’s not a secret. I now have two Chinese knock offs and for the price I can’t complain. At 1/3 of the price, I am pleased with the performance. Quality control isn’t on par with the big name kayak brands, but I’m not spending $3000 either lol
Yea my only concern is how soft the flooring is. It could use a re-design of the scuppers or some way to reinforce the stability. Other than that, you can’t beat it for the price
The real manufacturer is called Vicking Kayaks in china there are several companys buying from them and they just put a random name in a kayak and calle it a day
I just bought the same one from Vance at Line Cutterz. Can’t wait to go pick it up.
Nice! I really think you will like it. I like the open style deck in the back and the wheels for moving it around come in handy.

@@Grind_Fishing I really love the wheels. Made it so easy to load and unload
Nice!! I have always had good experiences at his store! Yea maybe one of these days we can go try to catch some fish
Nice kayak, nice video! 😊 Thanks for a good description and the weatherproofing idea was a great idea!
Thanks for watching!
I’ve tested this one as well. Great purchase.
I am ready for you to catch some fish on it!
Bro rear wheel the best.. love it
It is a good addition to the kayak for sure
Great video, minus what kayak is that, brand etc. I tried using Fin Finder but no luck.

I can give the contact information to line cutterz if you would like
It looks good compared with its money!!! Specially ilike the buck wheels which is something that you can not find in many more expensive kayaks!!!!
Yes it is a nice feature. I didn’t realize how much I would like it until I got to use it when launching the kayak
Whats the weight capacity? And would be able to add an extra seat for an extra person

do you think I'll be able to install the boonedox landing gear right onto those tracks in the back there? are those tracks pretty sturdy?

I just bought this one. I’ve always used Hobie PAs. This is a great entry level kayak with features you’d find on higher end kayaks.
Chinese kayak lol…..everyone trying to put American companies out of business.

Vance builds this one out to have most of the features of a kayak triple the price. Rotomold is pretty on par with others in higher price points.
