Nice Review. You should reviewed Napoleon Dynamite as well LOL! HOLLYWOOD (Hollywierd as I call them now), will never make a movie that compares too the 1970 Waterloo that starred the great Rod Steiger and Christopher Plummer! Even though there were many historical inaccuracies, for those of us who are knowledgeable of Napoleonic history! Have a Happy New Years my friend!
I hope you are well. Visiting your channel I have seen your all videos and content are very good but your video SEO optimization is not professional. Perhaps you are busy for managing the channel. I Will do SEO on your RUclips videos to get more engagement. I can advertise your channel to get more subscribers and watch hours, And I can rank your videos on RUclips If you need . LOL, thank you and Happy Good Year! Yeah, I decide NOT to see the movie per the bad reviews and I am sorry for RS but I was disappointed, was hoping for honorable movie.
Yes, very disappointed with the RS movie. I think he needed to focus on either a particular element of Napoleon's life or narrow the scope of time covered.
@@EricsTableNapoleonicBattles I agree, less gossip and more tactical Insight which was his forte. To pack his whole like In a movie Is quite a challenge though, but not how RS did It.
Very well done - kudos! I had a similar thing happen with the various dog movies with my son when he was 5! Sadly even the non-historian critics panned the current version, sigh. BTW do I see a model of the USS Constitution in the case there? Is that the Revell kit or a museum model?
Good eye! Yes, it is a model of the USS Constitution. My father had it made on commission by a local model ship builder, Ed Sims. I can remember, as a kid, we would go visit the guy's studio and see the progress of the build. Everything is handmade, except the cannon barrels. When my father died and my mom had to downsize, I inherited the ship.
Best review I have seen yet!
Thanks. Everyone had already piled on, so I was inspired to be humorous.
This is why I enjoy your channel, historical insight and critical movie review.
Don't expect many movie reviews...not my thing. However, I thought this would be humorous.
Absolutely
There is an error. The amount of balloons shown could not raise the puppy up.
What!!!!! It wasn't realistic! To quote Ridley Scott, "Were you there?"
Great review of both!
Glad you enjoyed it

Yes, 1970 Waterloo is still the best.

I was expecting a comment about the movie's depiction of the great "Battle of Waterdish". 😁
Indeed. The troops formed a "square meal" in the dogdish.

LOL, well done Eric.
Glad you liked it. My attempt at humor.
You were much more kind than I was.

@@EricsTableNapoleonicBattles Nice thanks!
Ha!
This is the closest I’ve come to a positive review of Ridley Scott’s Napoleon. 😂
Yes, I think folks had heard enough about the RD movie. This was meant to be short and funny. Glad you enjoyed it.
This review was exactly three months too early.
I have a cheep DVD of Napoleon for sale. Makes a great gift to any 5-year old! 😉
