Even after rewatching GOT a few times I never hated Thorne / Olly though. They have justified reasons for doing what they did, even though as an audience of course I’m on Jon’s side.

Craster had 99 sons at the time of his death, the one in this episode makes 100 sons given to the White Walkers. That means 100 White Walkers (99 now thanks to Sam). We only see 13 though....
Also the scene with Margaery and Tommen must have been difficult (the future post marriage scene even more so). She was 32 and he was 16 at the time of filming, literally double his age.
16 year old me would kill to be in that scene.

my views on olly are he had every right in his body and mind to shoot ygritte after killing his father and I believe in karma, specially a child with revenge. (arya) But the moment he let his rage take over his just decisions and killed Jon was the time I didn't like him and said fuck olly. The first act was justified revenge the second was poor decision making.

Lots people dont notice the 13 but forget that Craster had 99 sons.....so wonder if the 13 are generals but others have different rankings.....this one had armor.....other previous ones didnt.....or did they start wearing armor because the other one was killed? ...so now they know they are at risk?
